Knows her history. Puts the onus on her students. Challenging, thorough, funny, high expectations of her students. Do the work - her gradebook will show the results.

Given my choices of fighting a well-trained, experienced warrior or Mrs. Brown, I would take my chances with the warrior. I think Mrs. Brown could physically beat someone with a stare. I've never met anyone who knows 1/10 of the amount of the history she knows. If I could leave this class with 5 percent of the history she taught us, I could write an entire textbook.

LSB!!! I dont know why her rating is so low, everyone loves her! She is amazing and loves historymore than anyone. Her class is a GPA saver as long as you make a good impression. Be prepared to write about Henry Clay more times than you can count.

Great lady, but does tend to play the favorites. Ask good questions and participate and you should do fine. a lot of random work that we never see, but at least we have some fun while we do it

I got a 5 on the AP, and truth be told I didn't do enough work to claim any responsibility for it - all Mrs. Brown. Also, she is very generous w/ college recs.
