Lisa Countess still sticks with me as one of my favorite teachers after 20 years. I had her for English 10 and Latin 1. She was encouraging and I finally started to like English in her class. Plus, Latin actually seemed easy because she taught it so well. I wish I had started taking Latin as a freshman instead of as a senior. I also felt like she was a real, genuine person. She wasn’t overly chummy with the students, but she wasn’t standoffish. She struck the perfect balance.
Best Teacher I Have Ever Had. Period.
she is amazing. I would gladly take her course every year of my life.
Makes Latin fun and has a great sense of humor. Rarely gets angry. Tends to rely on students learning material outside of class, which is her only weakness.
She doesn't really teach much. When she does she always leaves things out which we have to learn later by ourselves. It's an entertaining class though. Doesn't prepare us for tests instead makes jokes
I think she's great! A little strict and her expectations are very high. But I learned a lot from her.
big pretender. she pretends to be nice but has a lot of malice within her. pretends to be organized but doesn't give our tests back for months. etc etc etc
Love her! Lets you write notes and do crossword puzzles in class!
Ms. Countess is a fabulous teacher and a great person. I have always enjoyed Latin class because she makes it fun and interesting. She is a person I know I can count on for anything, and for that she is wonderful.
Ms. Countess is the sweetest lady you could ever have as a teacher. She always brightens my day. She makes latin my favorite class. I can always came to her for anything and I really appreciate that. Gratias ago for everything.
Maybe a good Latin teacher. Worst history teacher ever. Only third to Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Masson. Most wortless course ever!
excellent teacher, has taught me a lot of Latin so far
