She keeps the class upbeat and fun, she takes her time to make sure everyone participates in her class. If you dont understand something go after class and she will talk you through it. Spanish class with her has honestly been a joy.

i'm sure she's a smart woman, but her teaching skills are not up to par. she's not here half of the time, and when she is, she barely teaches. everything is "so easy" to her, and she just expects us to know after she explains once. updates powerschool once a month. her class is actually really chill and fun, but i just wish we learned something for once; there has to be a balance.

Never updates grades so it really blinds you on how you're doing in the course....shes alright except for that...tries to be funny, not even going to comment on that.

Her Spanish III class certainly isn't impossible. You have to study every night for an A, but you can just study for tests and vocab and do fine. She knows what she's talking about, and I've never had an unclear answer to a question. The key to getting stuff right is to actually do the homework worksheets and ask her as many questions as possible when she goes over them. She doesn't really teach. Just gives extremely comprehensive notes. She is willing to help those who need it.

Ms. Mel is awful. She does not care about students. Infact, she hates kids. She curses kids out. She flicked off a nice, caring, innocent student for asking a question. I do not understand why she wants to be a teacher. I think it is because she likes to brainwash people. She brainwashes them to believe that Spanish is the best language. I wouldn't know because she doesn't even teach. She was gone half this year and expects us to learn from subs. Most of them could not speak/understand Spanish.

Ms Mel is a great teacher. The students who complain is because they don't study. They just want the easy A and they;re not getting it.
