Mr. Allimonos is one of the best social studies teachers I've ever had. His lessons are clear and he makes complicated subjects way easier by explaining them in simpler terms. He relates past events in history to similar events today to make it easier to understand. I think that his teaching style is similar to a college professors' because he won't chase after you if you don't do your homework, but whether you did or did not do your homework will show on his tests. He's also nice and funny.
i got a 92 on the global regents with him so i think he is a good teacher
Seems to take his job as a teacher lightheartedly, but he does teach the subject, though he does not seem to emit a scholarly aura.
Not suitable for teaching AP U.S. History, but overall a fun teacher, although he too often digresses. Provides good anecdotes but NEEDS to give more info for k
I had him twice I think he is the only reason I passed the global regents.Of the 3 US and government teachershe is the only one that actually taught something.
I had Mr. Allimonos twice, and he's a good teacher. He's easy, and doesn't give much work. Can be a little boring though.
I had Mr. Allimones last year before I graduated and I thought by far he was the ONLY good history teacher I had at van.
