Mrs. Lapetina is an amazing teacher. She trys to get a rise out of anyone that poses a challenge. That's what makes her great. She had personality and talent. It's sad that she is retiring this year. I wish her the best.
she picks her favorites, starts out the year acting like she's such a tough teacher and by the end of the year its the easiest class of your life. we had to dress up as a historical person for the final so easy! just BS a lot
good teacher. I wish we covered less poetry; however, really helpful and kind person.
Her class is no doubt a college level course, but her inteligence and skill as a teacher make the daunting task of some of her assignments seems quite manageable.
She expects way too much from students like me. "O class.. have Pride and Prejudice read by next week" ... I don't even have time to spark it.. n she wants me to read it?
Mrs. Lapetina is a challenging teacher, but you walk away from the class with such a level of experience. Just as good as Lorber with more clearity and kindness!
She can be really hard sometimes but the class is mostly fun and is definitely worth it. I loved the projects.
I hated her, so mean. Made you feel like a sack of bricks if you didn't understand something.
an austrailian who speaks english, outrageous! her class is strait up easy cheese but her journals are stupid crap
Mrs. Lapetina is an awesome English teacher. She taught at a very high level, but if you paid attention and put in the work, you got a lot out of the class.
the class is very hard, but in the end it's all worth it. she makes sure you get your AP credits.
If you can't keep up with her... you don't deserve to be in AP English... get out.
A great teacher and knows how to explain things well.
Mrs. Lapetina is an awesome teacher, her class is such a wonderful, envigorating challenge. For those who put in the effort, she'll prepare you for college.
She belongs in a college, cuz that's the level she teaches at.
