I loved Mrs. Eagle so much! Her class was extremely difficult for me because English is my second language and it was the first time I had courage to take an AP English class but she taught me so much!!! Her Senior Inquiry Project allowed me to have an interest in Prisoners Rehabilitation Programs through the Arts. I wish I could get in contact with her again and thank her for working me to my true potential right before college.
I think that she was way too easy, I had her junior and senior year and ditched class every other day. She still gave me an A. I don't think she actually reads what you write on your essays though :(.
I am now a college English instructor, and I first had Mrs. Eagle as a teacher nearly twenty years ago. She taught four classes of mine in total: French and English in both my junior and senior years. I had been an honors student since early elementary school and struggled with her classes at first. Surely the problem was the teacher, I thought, since I'd excelled in prior coursework. The opposite was true: she challenged me to live up to my potential. The most influential teacher I've ever had.
She is undoubtedly one of the most brilliant teachers in that school, which is saying a lot because it's Monterey High. For her english class, she introduces works of literary merit and explores important themes and global issues. A lot of the guys accuse her of being biased towards white males, but to be honest the majority of those guys who complained about that weren't really doing their best, and she can see through that. She will treat you like a college student.
She is my all time favorite teacher. Learned so much in her class and I was well prepared for university level english. She is one of the nicest teachers ever. If you put in the effort you will get the grade you want.
I absolutely loved her class my junior year. I have to admit it was the toughest class I had ever taken, but I ended up loving english and felt prepared for the ap exam.
She demands a certain respect just be being so knowledgeable, and if you pay attention, you will improve you're understanding of Literature and essay-writing efficiency, but most students of hers beco
The greatest teacher I have ever had! If you are eager to learn, and want to do well in college, do not delay in signing up for her class!
The best English class I've ever had. INCLUDING 4 years at UCLA. She's difficult, but you will really know your stuff at the end of the year.
i've never met you but i always think your a bird teaching class...on a perch
She is an excellent teacher when it comes to grammar, but everything else went right over my head. Her class is insanely difficult and time consuming. An A in her class means a farewell to free time.
Her class is incredibly difficult. Don't fall behind. She's somethings incredibly unclear, but don't be afraid to ask her to clarify something or ask for help. Overall, I'm learning a lot from her. +
English 3&4, Quite possibly the best teacher in the school district. Her syllabus is absolutely brilliant, fair work load -- for the student that cares about their education. (Huggable Grandma Type)
I'm in college now- and I have yet to experience a professor as difficult or as fantastic as Mrs. Eagle. If I had the chance, I would re-take english with her in a heartbeat!
challenging in a manner that if you don't agree with her views, you're wrong. regurgitate, work hard and spit back everything she says and you do well. biased.
I've talked to people in Vatican City, and I'm almost positive that Mrs. Eagle is the human incarnation of Beazelbub, the Prince of Darkness. But she's still a pretty good teacher.
who makes you turn in 70 pages of notes on a book, giving a test the same day, a vocab. test that day too and a 3 page essay due the next day? the answer is MAJ-BRITT!
helpful and concerned about students success. if you have problems, talk to her. it'll probably help to at least know that she does care (she does, i promise)
Certainly a most challenging endeavor to take her class but well worth the effort and to take in everything she has to offer. She tried to be nonintiminating.
She teaches french (an elective) like a core class. to keep a good grade in that class you have to focus all yr attention on it
awsome teacher, but scary. all the rumors are true she is the hardest teacher in the school. she is the best but you have to get over the fact that your not
Mrs. B is great, but Mrs. Eagle is god. I passed both AP Lit and Lang. w. her my junior year. Dont miss her for the world!
her french class is OKEY.. she's a tough teacher but it all helps us at the end.. but other than that.. i really like her!
Her French class is so easy! You don't even have to do her homework an she'll still pass you. She is very very nice, not like Ms.Fearn.
Great teacher, very tough and challenging but brilliant, go join World Without Borders, a club she hosts. Try to get her, it's well worth the effort.
eagle is one of the hardest teachers and also one of the best. she gives tons of homework and will not stand for anyone going against her ideas
mrs. eagle is awesome!! If you want to learn and refresh the brain then take this class!!!! ITS AWESOME! She ROCKS
Mrs. Eagle is the best teacher I've ever had. She is the best and I respect her a lot.
She is the best English teacher I've had. I've had good ones, but she out does them all. You haven't had an English class until you've had Mrs. Eagle!
She's quite challenging, but you'll love her for it. She teaches you more than you'd ever expect and you will do a lot of self-searching in her class.
Her classes can be hard but well worth the time and effort you put forth..she is a genius and has a definate passion for teaching! She's a really great teacher!
The best teacher I had during high school -- she dedicates herself to the public education system. Ask her for help often and don't resist her brilliant advice.
Hardest, but best English teacher. Almost 100% passing AP.You'll learn more from her in one year then all your other english classes combined. Good Luck!
