I am an alum of Performing Arts and this man/teacher inspired and helped me to hone my skills for breaking down a character mentally, physically, and soulfully. He taught me to act by not 'acting' but by being.
I had him as a teacher at 14. I am grateful that he instilled in me a strong work ethic. He is very harsh but I always had a sense that he cared and he was fighting hard for each of us to see our own potential. What I learned from him was mostly intellectual but that could have also been my age.
he was the best teacher I ever had and the toughest...does he still do the warm up with the opposite arms going round and round? I love that man.
Was my mentor as a young actor and I value all his teachings to this day.
Murat Rocks! I still use all that he told me in his class. He is brutally honest and in acting you need that sometimes! Listen closely and youll realize how much he has to offer.
had him for voice and diction and he gave us the most insipid assignments. i would be amazed if anyone got anything voice/diction related out of that class.
one day every1 will understand why he is the way he is. and once you understand that, youll no why he is the greatest.
MARAT IS THE MAN! HE IS THAT HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER, THE 1 THAT EVERY 1 HAS. THE 1 TEACHER THAT CHANGES YOUR LIFE. AN INSPIRING LITTLE RUSSIAN DUDE!
A brilliant and passionate teacher of drama, Mr. Yusim's popularity occasionally suffers due to his high standards and ruthless honesty.
What can I say? He's well-qualified but cannot offer anything except his temper.
