Probably the best spanish teacher I've ever had. Learned more spanish from her in just 1 semester than 5th-10th grade combined. I could practically understand spanish and it was all thanks to Mrs. Sorensen. Her class seems impossible at first but turns out to be really easy later on, but that is because she does such a great job at teaching. I like her moral teachings on life that she occasionally speaks about. Great teacher!

Sra. Sorensen- Even though I enjoyed Spanish IV a lot more than I've enjoyed Spanish V this year, you're an amazing teacher and person. I'll miss you a lot and I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide to do next. I'll always remember you as the Spanish teacher with a passion to teach your students about the Spanish language and culture.

Sra. Sorensen used to say that we were the reason she got out of bed and came to school in the morning. That we lit up her life. The one thing that I wish I had told her (and that I want administration to know) is that she was that for us too. I loved coming to her class and never felt anything but wonderful being there. I will get a 7 on my IB exam in may - and that 7 will be for her. Not for the school, or administration, but for the best spanish teacher I have ever had.

She was the best teacher that EVER tought me spanish! I can actually read and understand the spanish that I read. I can't believe what happened to her, and I can't believe the administration for allowing this to happen. I loved her so much and she was probably the best teacher ever. She knew her stuff because it was her first language and sat there until you got it right I had a sense of acomplishment but now nothing. I'm livid about everything that happened. BRING HER BACK!

Sra. Sorensen is one of the most amazing people I have ever had the privileged of meeting. She may seem abrasive at times, but she cares for her students. She not only taught me Spanish (easily passed my IB test), but taught me to be a better and safer human being.

Mrs. Sorensen - You made me feel like Spanish wasn't something I needed to learn, but rather something I have always known and simply need to remember. Through poetry, story, and song you taught us things no textbook ever could. I learned so much about not only Spanish, but life, in your class, and I will always adore you for that. If we disagreed about anything, you never asked me to change my mind for yours, and were always open to hearing my views. I just want to say - thank you, thank you.

Senora Sorenson is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She influenced my life and my high school career for the better and I am grateful every day that I was given the time with her that I had. I learned more and had more fun with her in a year and a half than I did with my past three Spanish teachers. She is strict, but she challenges you and I will miss her every day when I go to IB Spanish V. Get to know her, don't let first impressions fool you. Thank you, Senora for everything.

Senora Sorensen is one of a kind, that's for sure. She's definitely opinionated and stubborn, but one of the more intelligent teachers I've ever had with one of the highest pass rates of any of my tea

I like how Mrs. Sorensen tells it how it is and isn't politically correct, we get enough of that from our politicians. If people don't like her they are probably too senstive and should get over it.

Has no way of telling what a student's actual grade is. Seems to choose grades on how well she likes them, not on their ability. Is more concerned with social beliefs and getting her opinion in than teaching spanish, and degrades many students for different reasons.
