Had her in the early 90's. Seems like she hasn't changed from what I'm reading. It's all true. She'd be better-off teaching at a junior-high in the 'burbs. I did like her, learned a few things, and also felt sorry for her.
Feel severely bad for her, she seems to love teaching, (for what reason I do not know, by looking at the way students treat her). People can easily cheat, deduct wrong answers by 1/8 of a point. She's out of date, severely.
easy to cheat. very good. high grades. leave class when you please. easy 95.
bad teacher i must say. easy grader but that does'nt matter. i had to study for the finals and regents on my own because she didnt teach! shes also really old so i think its the tenure
i hope i get a different f4 teacher cuz im definitly gonna fail the regents if i dont
I think she finally realized that nobody's doing their homework.
Ms. Lorenzo is a good, easy teacher, although not sensitive to her environment of a high school classroom.
She's a nice enough lady, but I think it's time she retired. She spends way too much time going over homework that she doesn't even check if we did, and I can barely understand her when she speaks English or French.
i think i actually knew more french before i had her.
walk out during class and she wont care, doesn't teach anything and she puts stuff on her tests about specific characters in the book that u would fail even if u were from france
She spends 90% of class time going over hw that no one does, then starts the lesson at the warning bell. People are a bit harsh on her... Maybe she would teach if we listened? O_O
too easy and oblivious, but she knows alot -if she would just teach it to us.
Easy 100. Is a walking skeleton. Completely oblivious. Doesnt teach anything. Enough said.
Very old lady, but also very friendly. Probably getting to be senile, but has tenure like noone's business. Lots of students take advantage of her. Definitely a pushover.
amazing. i actually forgot french but i've since never had an easier class. she is a nice person though, you can do well in her class and still respect her.
Stupid teachers' contract. I pity this poor lady, but the UFT's contract is keeping her here since 1961 and counting.
I agree with the previous person on feeling bad. She's not THAT bad of a teacher...
I feel sooo bad for her. She gets NO respect or attention from the students. She may be old and not quite sharp, but i hear she was a good teacher in her time.
wow the cool/notcool question was easy... ummm i really think she should RETIRE and go to france
C'mon, people! She really isn't that horrible a teacher. Alright, she is extremely lenient- but is that a BAD thing?
Take out the book during the test and blatantly copy from it. During the oral final, she is very likely to fall asleep. I got 100, and i cut most of the time.
Dotard in the full sense of the word. We are reviewing what we learned last semester- what I learned in 7th grade.
wow, such a horrible teacher, does not teach, and should retire, need i say more?
I was tempted to click "Retired/gone" on this fillout sheet. She may have been a good teacher in her time, but now her lessons are a joke....really.
Can't the school suggest-strongly-that she retire? Like not give her any classes and see what she does?
She's definitely too lax with the students, which is the main reason why they take advantage of her - cutting class, throwing erasers out the window...etc.
