She's a good teacher as long as you pay attention and WANT to learn. I was the dork making TI-calculator programs to help with homework/tests/studying though, so I could be biased. Years later, she sent kids to find me in Burnham's class for the apps
'Motorcycle Marsha' was a blast! We could always use a good story after dealing all day with the monotonous or inhebriated teachers. Cool to see "Mad Dog" is still around - - MacArthur Days Magpie
She is alsways scatter brained. She easily gets distracted and we are left copying down the notes and HW while the bell rings. Then we come with our papers blank, and she yells and blames us!
I had her in 1973-74 at Douglas MacArthur. She was new to teaching. Tried hard & always assisted. Back then classes were 20-25 kids. You learned and she had time to spend with you
SHE TRIES HER HARDEST TO MAKE MATH EAST, BUT CAN BE CONFUSING. SHE TAKES FOREVER TO GET TESTS AND PROJECTS CORRECTED.. BUT SHE IS BUSY. SHE WILL SPEND HOURS HELPING YOU UNDERSTAND.
Mrs.Mazany is one of the nicest women to teach math. But sadly, she cannot successfully teach pre-calculus. It's not that she doesn't try, it's that she doesn't reach her students.
umm...yeah, she doesnt really know what shes talking about. nicest lady ever. however, she got an english major and i dont think she knows what shes doing, especially in precalc.
Made me love math again! She teaches better when she is confortable and in a smaller class. She is always late and easyly distracted, but shes super sweet!
She is nice and knows her stuff, shes very experienced with teaching. if you dont get it, ask, and she'll give you the right answer
