Several points on why she's awful. First, she's terribly disorganized. We spend half of class waiting for her to finish shuffling her papers. She takes a whole marking period to grade things. She frequently forgets when things are supposed to be. She also doesn't know how to teach. I've never been more productive in doing nothing for an entire class period. She never goes over how she expects us to do things, which is why a majority fail her open ended tests. She's super defensive about it too.

This teacher is the worst teacher I've ever had in my years at LHS. Her inability to grade assignments even close to what would be considered "On time," makes me wonder why she even became a teacher in the first place. She does not teach, and she complained about how much work she had! Hello? You're a teacher! This is your job!

She was an okay person but a bad teacher. She would always complain about her life to us, and though I was sympathetic the first 5 times she mentioned the same thing, it quickly got old. Class was often boring, and having her freshman year kinda put me on the path for not really having a good English experience in high school.

She's a really nice person, but not a very good teacher. Read the books and you'll be fine, but all I learned was that A Separate Peace was the worst book I've ever "read".

She was a really nice teacher!!!! All of the books we read during the year were really good except for A Separate Peace. She didn't teach us grammar or how to write at all, so we discussed the books we were reading the entire year. The multiple choice tests on the books ranged from easy to a little hard, but she prepared us well for the analysis. She barely assigns any hw and gives us a lot of time to write essays but takes entire marking periods to grade them. She gives grade boosters too.

Although she is a nice person, her tests on the books we read are very difficult and include extreme details that were unlikely to be remembered. Additionally, it takes her a very, VERY long time to grade. It takes her so long that you have forgotten you have taken it by the time she returns it. Once you are finally returned the test, you are disappointed in the low grade. She grades very harshly. If you ever get her, be prepared for studying until it hurts and bad grades :)

She is a really good person. She is a tough grader, but teaches what you need to learn. She is not the best with 'classroom procedures', like making groups, averaging points, giving enough grades.

Dellosa's class is very hard, but I'm so glad I was in it. She really made me passionate in my writing, and it was an amazing experience. She cares deeply about her students, and if you show her an effort to improve your grades, she will do what she can to help you.

Mrs. Dellosa is nice enough, she's very understanding about late work (maybe a big too understanding), and she grades very lightly. However she teaches honors English like a cp2 class. She makes asumm

very slow grader. Her tests are not at all related to what she teaches. The first grade you get is the same grade you will get all year round.
