I thought he was a great teacher. Witty and funny. I had no clue about anything in regards to music and was forced to take it IB. He was the only reason I survived the class. Every time I needed help he stayed after school or during lunch to help me, or explain some concept. Thank you Mr. G.

Mr. G is generally a nice person. But the thing I like most about him is that he's very fair. However, he is overly demanding to certain students and that can be quite stressful. He's very knowledgeable about band and choir, but doesn't know much about string instruments, percussion, and piano.

He's been really cruel to the seniors this year... giving us an IB Music performance night the same week as Extended Essay and early decision applications were due, what the heck? He also isn't the greatest at explaining things in IB Music. He essentially just teaches to the IB test and we never learn much actual material. He doesn't seem to value the huge sacrifices we make to be in band and never cares about the students' feelings.

Gotta love the metaphors...playing bass clarinet like the leg lamp in A Christmas Story? I'll always remember that one.

Mr. G. is awesome! But he knows ALL the gossip that goes on in this school before most students do. I think he has hidden surveilance. except he's Mr. G.

I don't know why, but I really enjoy having him teach whatever class I'm in. Its not easy to please him, but you learn things. Isn't that what school is about?
