Mr.K is love Mr.K is life
Tips for Mr. K
1. Learn how to say "thank you"
2. Be on time.
3. Give us the music more than one day before the performance
4. Stop playing favorites
5. Learn how to say "thank you".
Mr.K is really nice and a good teacher. He pushes his bands to fulfill their potential, and he tries to put good people in leadership positions. I have grown so much as a musician over the past few years, and he has really helped with that.
Mr K cares about his students. He spends most weekends at competitions/festivals. If you want things to be better then step up and help out instead of coming on here and complaining.
Mr. Kalal does play favorite, however his favorites are the only people who do anything. He has to deal with alot of people who don't care so he focuses on those who want to learn.
I'm a parent and disgusted with this teacher. It has become very clear this year that Mr. Kalal has no problem playing favorites with certain students. Too bad he can't be impartial and objective. If you aren't a woodwind or a huge donor (cash or time)
Stop playing favorites. Stop believing your leadership is setting a good example. He needs to be more observant of his student leaders. Do you honestly think they are "practicing" in the band room with the doors closed while the rest of the class is do
he's a cool guy. but not the best teacher. if you want something done you have to always be on his case until he does it
Mr. K is good and all but he provides no help and just makes you ask section leaders for help
Absolutely love K. I'm in college but come back to Henry sometimes just to see him. One of the coolest teachers at that school.
It's not really fair to judge Mr. K based on how he teaches his AP Music Theory Class since up until this year he has been dealing with Colorguard AND Music Theory 6th period. Most AMAZING Band Director ever... but I guess I'm biased, I'm a band kid. (:
A cool guy with good intentions, however he has no idea how to teach a music theory class. Only students with much prior training managed to pass the AP test
Uhm, this is a hard one. Mr. K is a cool guy and a pretty good band director, but his Music Theory class was kind of ridiculous. Enjoyable teacher though.
Mr. K knows what he's doing and is fun. He sometimes is busy, but that's because he's working hard to support himself seeing that teachers get paid so LITTLE.
Isn't very organized, but he's still a cool teacher.
Mr Kalal is one of the most qualified music theory teachers in the county. He does a very good job teaching it. it is an easy class but a tough subject.
Mr. K is like a big kid. He's great! If you're in his class, stay.
OH SO COOL!!!! TOO BAD HE'S NEVER ON TIME!!! LOVE YA MR.K!!!!
