I had Muratore for frosh and soph history and all I want to say is that words can't describe how caring and knowledgeable of a teacher he is. Honestly my fav teacher on campus 10/10 would recommend. You might think he's boring at first but you'll learn to love him and his teaching style. He made me love history and now it's my favorite subject. I also love how teaching makes him smile and his little grin when lecturing about something he loves makes my heart explode with joy
This is my second year with Muratore, and I absolutely love the class. He honestly made me love history, and I love the lectures although some people find them boring. Very fun class, one of my favorite teachers!
I love Muratore so much. He is best teacher I've ever had and he really made me love history. Words really can't describe how great of a teacher he is. My favorite part of his class is when he's lecturing, and he goes off a bit in depth about a topic related to our unit and as he's describing it there's a big smile on his face then he says "it's actually quite interesting, you guys should look into it more." THAT is the highlight of my day. His little grin and love of history make my heart happy
Mr. Muratore is, to put it simply, a great teacher. The only downside to him that everyone else says is his monotone voice, but that's nothing compared to his precise analytical skills about certain events in history. He has a great analysis of all of his topics. But, for big papers, he sort of just expects you to do it on your own, but it's really not that hard since everyone gets high As. Lots of busy work, but helpful. Tests, give it 30-1 hour study time.
honestly thought he was chill in the beginning. can be boring feel like he does not care about students sometime only about his interest.
Fun teacher, but the tests are kind of hard
I absolutely love Mr. Muratore, he is one of my favorite teachers. I've had him the past two years and at first I thought he was boring a monotone but now I just love that class. He teaches very well and explains everything. He is understanding and truly wants everyone to do well in his class. He is also very easy to talk to, love that class.
honestly my favorite teacher ever hes such a great guy snd his class is so easy just do the homework and youll pass w an A
Had him for MYP US Hist 10th grade. One of the easiest classes I have ever taken. HW is easy, can prep from the RSG for tests. Only thing is he sits on his phone and ltp too much during tests, press conferences, and while the class is working. Seems like he gets a little annoyed if you ask too many smart questions. Plays favorites somewhat, but not gradewise. Teaching is clear.
One of the best teachers I've ever had such a great guy for anyone who wants a great teacher not only does he care about your grades he works hard to be involved in your life in a few years i look forward to drinking with this guy best out there
Personally, one of my favorite teachers of my high school experience. He is a very knowledgeable teacher, albeit pretty monotone and dull at times, but his sense of humor and explanations make up for it. His class is where I developed my love for history. I would highly recommend him, you will learn a lot if you do the homework and put in a fair amount of studying.
the best teacher on campus, a fantastic resource to have as a student!!
Love this guy. If you can get pat the fact that his speaking tone is boring, he is perhaps the most rational and understanding teacher on campus. Easy A but more importantly one of the best teachers and people on campus!!
Mr. Muratore was one of my favorite teachers. The class is very fun and easy, but you'll learn a lot. Tests are a little difficult, but you'll still get an A in the class as long as you do your homework. A tip is to actually read the textbook when he assigns it, because if he assigns it, it means he'll be giving a lecture on it in the next few days, and you'll be lost if you haven't read the section in the textbook. I actually really liked his lectures and didn't find them boring like some do.
I had Mr. Muratore for freshman MYP History and he was a really good teacher in a sense that he was not only very knowledgeable on his subject but also was a very kind man who was willing to make a strong connection with his students. His activities were really redundant some times, but it was clear he was making an effort to make it exciting. Lectures are only worth it if you are not lulled to sleep by his soothing voice LOL.
LOVE Mr. Muratore. He's probably the most understanding teacher on campus. He knows what he's teaching, and he's always flexible with his students. Some people find his lectures to be boring and monotone, but on the contrary, I enjoyed them. His tests aren't exceptionally difficult; if you read the proper material, then the tests shouldn't be a problem. Disappointed that he doesn't teach upperclassmen classes.
Mr. Muratore is really nice and very clear. Although sometimes he can get off topic, he always is filling his student's head with useable knowledge that we can actually use and understand. Some people don't like that he is monotoned, but I think that it makes him easier to listen to and makes his jokes better and more hilarous
Mr. Muratore is an excellent teacher. Although he sometimes can possibly get a little boring, overall he is great!
Nicest man on campus...
Great voice as well...
Your success will depend solely on your effort. If you need help, just ask him. He'll help you no matter what!
Great guy, good teacher. Has lots of patients and will really try to help you out. He sometimes dazes off while he talks and looses concentration, but picks up right where he ended everytime.
He's really nice, but is kind of boring. His tests are pretty difficult as well.
People say he's boring, but he is a genuine and caring teacher. Muratore cares about learning and the subject of history!
Mr Muratore was the amazing. His lectures are quite boring at times. Also, his voice is monotonous, except for an occasional increase, and this is quite comical. He is a great teacher.
Muratore is the most amazing teacher I have had in my life. People often find him monotone, but if you listen to what he's saying, you're in for a wonderful year. He inspired me to persue history.
i love muratore! he seems boring at first. but you have got to make an effort to get to know him. i had him last year and i still go back and visit him just to chat. he really can be a lot of fun
Mr. Muratore is VERY confusing; I never knew what we were supposed to do. He's nice and sometimes funny, but his voice is lifeless and dull, so bring a pillow to class so you can take a nap.
Nice guy, but his class was a yawm at times. Much better as an advisor.
goes over the same lessons multiple times, which is actually helpful. he will become your best friend.
Well to start off his last name is Muratore. That excuses all of his misgivings and short-comings, wether or not his actions are logical, fair or legal.
Mr. Muratore is awesome...sometimes really boring, but he's super nice if you get on his good side. HINT: Get a job in his class. You'll get lots of participation points!
He's too adorable not to love! he's so small and is always in a good mood, just get on his good side and he'll help you out around grading time. Tests are hard though.
Muratore is a great teacher...His voice is kinda monotone, which is great, because I don't think it has the capacity for anger. Very helpful, very interesting, very odd, and VERY short. great man =D.
Mr. Muratore is a great teacher. He does have his faults, like most teachers do (such as the monotone and the long lectures), BUT he's super nice and extraordinarily patient. That's saying a lot.
I LOVE Mr. Muratore!!! I look forward to his class everyday! He's is soo awesome! He's so funny and so nice, and knows so much about his subject!
mr. muratore is HELLA nice. nicest teacher i've ever had, anyway. he likes good music too, i heard he listened to system of a down???
Mr. Muratore is a thoughtful history teacher. I'm an MYP freshman and he considers the hardships of being a freshman. I love his class. He makes history speak for itself. His class is awesome. I love Mr. Muratore :)
i love him, he's cool, he lets you get away with pretty everything, and his class is really easy
He is such a good teacher. He's really helpful, and teaches pretty well, and if you get past the monotone, he's actually really funny and interesting, and that makes paying attention easier. I love this class so much.
Mr. Muratore is basically a good teacher, however he talks so monotonely, it seems as if he doesn't even care what he is lecturing about, so it makes the rest of the class doze off.
Mr. Muratore is soo nice. But he's kinda tough and he can sound kinda monotone sometimes
Mr. Monotone Muratore is a great teacher. He knows what he's teaching. He is also a really smart, cool, funny teacher and a nice guy. But, he always rambles and over expands things (maybe that's why he talks so slowly)
I really liked him. He is a good person and an effective teacher.
he wasnt the best teacher but hes a good guy. yeah he might return papers late and talk kinda slow, but hey his test are the easiest ull get in an IB class ever!
THE BEST TEACHER EVER. LOVE HIS LENIN SONG AND DANCE, FUNNIEST EVER. HAS THE BEST JOKES AND CALLS HIMSELF EMINEM #2(MATHEW MURATORY)!!!! FUNNY GUY ALTHOUGH IS A BIT UNORGANIZED.
He's pretty dull... but pretty cool once u get to know him. He has this momemts where he just SHOUTS to get every1's attention.
He is SOOOOO lazy. He has a tendency of forgetting about assignments, then collecting them days later. He also has a strange method of grading that is not always accurate of skill.
Muratore is an awesome teacher once you get to know him. He gives extra credit and thats helpful cause his tests are hard. he is halarious and sarcastic at times.
Muratore is freaking awesome! So he's kinda boring first semester but when you actually get to know him, he's halarious and doesn't care if u cut and go to his class.
Some kids call him Boratore. He's really, really boring and gives extremely hard tests. Not a good teacher for students that don't like/are'nt good @ history.
Mr. Muratore may bore you a little but, if you look past that, he is a good teacher. He is really funny, in a nerdy-sorta way, but give him a try. He is cool.
definitely needs to liven up his classes. my most boring year of history. sullivan rocks. but muratore's a nice guy and helped me pass when I was struggling.
You just have to laugh when he says Von Shlieefen, or when he stands up in the middle of the classrom and makes machine gun noise. Can be boring but cool.
okay...you HAVE to LOVE the way he looks right at you...but chooses not to call on you until ur arm has no blood left, and the period is almost over...grr.
his lectures can be so boring. But, he can be funny sometimes, like that one time when he told us not to talk in a monotone
The most monotonous voice I 've ever heard in my life. Lectures are vocal sleeping pills.
stop talking to your wife! He has this boring way of teaching..i thought it couldnt get worse...just the thought of it..*snore*. ease up on the monotonous tone
He knows what he's doing, but he is really lazy. The first assignment we did this year; nobody has gotten it back yet.
Hes a good teacher. Instead of only lecturin he gives us other ways to learn the material and not to mention gives us the tests in the back o da packets... ;)
I always found his class interesting and hes not monotoned, despite what others say. Hes compassionate and friendly, as well as a great teacher
i love muratore...he doesn't call on people that often, but he's teaching instead. I think he's really kool, and he's got candy and announces jv-football.
Awsome teacher, class is well run and well thought out. You really do learn a lot from him, and he helps you out in every way possible. Also, very funny :).
Boring, but I agree with others in that he cares about the students. He made the timeline project worth only 50 points, which angers me. We had a Kinko's party!
I really liked him, he cares about his students and made sure that i passed even though i was struggling. Give him a chance and he'll help you out. Seriously.
he really needs to keep out of students business. always asking what is going on. and be more funny.
He knew his stuff, but it's too bad he didn't know any other way of teaching than monotonous lectures and awful simulations. He was boring, but I learned stuff.
I had never known anyone could make history as boring as he did. His lack of teaching abilities and social graces pain me. PLEASE FIRE THIS MAN.
uses computer frequently but teaches with infectious passion. knows what he's doing.
a little more variety, instead of droning on in a monotone would be nice, but knows a lot about what he teaches.
