Very biased teacher who makes up her mind about her students early on, and if you get on her bad side don't expect half a chance at an A. Very opinionated teaching of reading material, super liberal social views. If you agree with her and are just as vocal as she is, you'll do well. If you're nothing like her, you won't. She'll give you help outside of class if you ask, but doesn't seem to understand that her class isn't the only one her students are taking.

Ms.Smith is tougher than you may like but one thing you can't question is that she really does have unique insights for her students. Despite coming late to class and not always being the best student she was very accommodating and helped english become one of my favorite subjects. I can honestly say that my future career outlooks are different because of my time in her class and because of that she'll always be one of my favorite teachers. She also has the best taste in movies ever! AP Lang btw

Mrs. Smith is an ok teacher; her class is relatively easy, but the grades are not. I got a 5 AP, 800 SAT (w) after being in her class. I couldn't get an A in only this class (5 APs). DONT be late(!!!) , take good notes.
Also she's a basic bitch ;).

Mrs. Smith is such a difficult and confusing teacher. Her quizzes are ridiculously difficult, and everyone failed them. She doesn't give too much insight, and she's just not a good teacher in general. If you get her for AP Lang, drop out.

i had her for AP English and did not like her at all. shes a slow grader and very hard grader. shes probably better as a falconer/yearbook teacher. and everything the person said on 4/28/10 is completely true

Alright. anyone who's in her ap eng lang class.. switch out. i'm not joking. worst class ever. she's a smart person.. i'll give her that. but she doesn't care at all about her students and she's way too lazy. half the time she has no plans for us so we don't do anything productive in class. Also she assigns stuff without teaching us anything about it so its obvious that we get bad grades on it.(its hard to get an A). She favors students too. Also i wish she would add more variety to the homework

Might be a good journalism teacher but don't take her english class. Switch out immediately. She loves her journalism class and doesnt care about ap english language. Never grades work, she went a whole quarter without entering a single grade.
