Mr. O'Connor is full of himself. He always needs to give his two cents on everything and it gets really tiresome, fast. As others have mentioned, he's really sarcastic (but almost in a malicious way) and does indeed play favorites. If you complain at all about the very difficult (and near unrealistic) deadlines he sets for you, he'll go on a rant about how people in Africa have harder lives than you and that your problems don't matter. He's an obvious liberal and can't see conservative points.
Love him, great teacher and coach
Just no. Pls engage us better instead of making us look at articles and taking notes.
Okay Yeah O'Connor is tough. But you learn so much in his class. Got an A in AP gov and a 5 on the AP exam even though I felt so unprepared; he's a good teacher. However, he's very sarcastic and his humor is biting so you have to watch it if you're sensitive.
I've never not liked a teacher until Mr. O'Connor. He doesn't teach! He sits back on his computer while he makes the class take notes from a book in silence. I could do that by myself! I don't need a
Some kids like him, but i don't. Yeah its amusing when he goes on tangents, but then we never learn what we are supposed to learn. He's like "oh yeah test tomorrow" and we're like "on WHAT?" Hard cuz
My best freshmen B football coach. Don't know him as a teacher, heard he was strict! Got promoted to varsity as a coach.
hes just not a nice guy who picks favorites and he does an absolutely horrible job for preparing you for tests, including your ap exam
Great guy. Kind of loves himself, but still I learned a lot from him. Keeps an open mind but sometime underestimates kids intelligence.
Cool, good teacher... Seems to get along with the jocks.
Pure cool. He does all these cool tings and he is so cool. cool.
Ok, Mr. O'Conner does not take pride in failing kids on big projects. He actually cares. SO why does he give out check points along the way? Yes Mr. O'Conner likes to make fun of the kids in his class but he cared for them. I was surprised I got a B in his 20'th Century history class
o'connor is AWESOME if you have him for AP govt. and get on his good side and you'll get A's on everything
Honestly the worst teacher I have ever had. He takes pride in giving students a ZERO on huge projects. He once said he enjoys it.
Great teacher, inspired me to become a history teacher. Definitely the coolest teacher I've ever had too.
I just wish we hadn't had quite so much busywork, because I thought he was pretty good when he was actually teaching. We could have done that together.
not cool, needs to learn where to draw the line. and needs to spend more time teaching then making fun of people
funny guy made fun of kids in class espically me casue i went in the wrong room then walked out liek half way through class, it was funny, great teacher and fun
i loved having O'Connor first period, it was a great way to start the morning esp. when we had swim practice that morning. i loved all your stories! AMAZING!
v. hard teacher, but really cool. tho kinda needs to lighten up a bit
He is an ok teacher, and tries to lighten up class by poking fun at people. Sometimes he goes WAY to far and really ends up rippin on someone real bad...
Great Teacher...pretty funny at times! I still can't get that song out of my head... IM JUST A BILL ahhh
Whoa... who would have known that the evilness of Wall-Mart could take up half a class-period.
O'Connor is hilarious, but his students are the real jokes. When he goes off on a tangent, sit back and relax, because the period will be half gone at the end.
