You may or may not like her depending on what kind of student you are. I like independent learning, she puts notes online, I generally ignore her during class and copy notes off my laptop. If you're more dependent on in class learning, and following along, then it will be a little strained. She goes very fas and erases the examples as soon as she is done, giving people no time to copy it. Overall great teacher, Also not very helpful, she gives me short 1-2 word answers if I ask her a question.
Podany is a great teacher. You have to understand her humor and instigate help from her but she will help you more than you need she's always ready to make things easier!
I agree with other posters about playing favorites. First semester was somewhat hard but her second semester tests were all take home tests. Best part was the fetal pig dissection
I had her many years ago and she played favorites, was accusatory, and only liked the popular kids.
Podany is an awesome person! Her class discussions can be difficult to understand at times, but she offers extra credit for AP Bio students. If you work hard then you'll do fine!
Pretty nice although first semester was a real challenge
Solid teacher but needs to learn social skills; admittingly says she doesnt like confrontation and is stubborn; plays favorites somewhat but most of the time is equel. You'll learn a lot from her class, but wont enjoy it
She has been the most inspirational teacher I've ever had. If you don't learn anything in her class, it's your fault, not hers. She's an amazing teacher.
Knows her stuff, explains things clearly and concisely, has a good sense of humor.. what more can you ask from a teacher?
Mrs. Podany is an excellent teacher. Her teaching is clear, effective and memorable. Mrs. Podany's personality is warm and fosters learning. Grade: A+.
good teacher, cool person. what more can you ask for?
a very cool class, and u learn somthing too least i did in biology
This teacher, was by far, one of the most super cool teacher I've ever had, She really cares about her students and can relate to them. Lots of fun too.
