The best teacher I ever had. Made me love coding, and taught me that math wasn't something to memorize and forget and hate, but a tool we can use with computers to create things!
mr p's a good teacher you just have to pay attention and clarify and as long as you try you should be able to a problem free year for math
Paul isn't as bad as students make him out to be. He doesn't give any homework, has a really laid back attitude, and the things you learn about computational mathematics are useful and interesting.
wow paul is one of the nicest teachers out there, he has your back if you respect him he's really cool and he ACTUALLY teaches. u barely use a calculator in his class
1. He, like all teachers, doesn't like Persian fuckwads who don't do their homework and complain that they fail the test. 2. If you pay attention in class, you will most likely understand the material (had him for IAT and APCS)
One of the nicest teacher's i have ever had and he really wanted me to succeed. But his tests were difficult. Not only the questions are hard, it's hard figuring out his grading system. My last test, if graded normally i would have had an 85, but with his system i got a 77. It's hard to study for his tests, but its not impossible. And he loves using confusing technology to answer questions.
i had him for like 2 years and he really is a nice person. he will tutor you if you are having trouble in his class and the only way to really do well is to do every hw problems before the test
Wow. I don't even know what to say about this guy. His quizzes were easy. His tests were impossible. No matter how hard you studied, he would always throw in a question that none of us had ever seen.
If you do not know how to take the SAT, switch out of his class. He grades his tests with the SAT grading system. Unless you are willing to UNDERSTAND math, don't get in his class.
His tests are like a guessing game. Not only do you have to solve the problem, you have to figure out how much it will hurt your grade if you're wrong. Switch out unless you want to teach yourself.
I had him for math 9th and 11th grade. I enjoyed his class and his discussions on philosophy. I think he should have a philosophy class during the school year. I graduated so i couldn't take it anyway
One of the best teachers I've ever had. Different political opinions, but he is very bright and philosophical, and he explains the material well. If you appreciate wit and wisdom, take him.
MR PAUL RULES, I LOVE YA MAN, I DONT CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY, YOU KICK MAJOR BUT!
- love andrew buckley
He's a cool guy, but Comptr. Sci. is horrible! His grading system is not based on pts. but rather a "reflection of your ability as a student" In other words, totally subjective!
i dont care what most people say...i think hes pretty cool.
penalty for guessing...you get negative points!
you will hate him after a week! also TRIES TO teaches cs and apcs...instead he teaches philosophy
annoying-weird grading system like SATs-I hate him and i hate math because of him-he pledge of a allegiance is to the earth
Mr. Paul does not seem to understand he is teaching MATH and NOT Philosophy.... He needs to learn to TEACH math
I had him freshman year for algebra, he was so hard, he had his tests like the SAT's (pentaly for guessing) and he didn't teach very well
Mr. Paul is a definite fan of Star Wars. I wonder if he likes Star Trek too. Very funny person, is like a hippy.
