Great teacher. Great person.
Constantly absent, dry and boring class, makes us share in her view points instead of defending our own (I dont even believe that she realizes she does this). Constantly speaks about how we are all equals, complaining when we interrupt her/someone else, yet she constantly interrupts the speaker with her own points.
Ms. Harrington, was by far my FAVORITE teacher,@Xaverian. Actually, she was more like my favorite teacher ever. I had never enjoyed any class in H.S., except when it was time for English, with Ms.Harrington. Not to mention, this was quite a few years ago, because I graduated in 2001. I still mention her when I talk to anybody about my HS days. I really appreciate all she did for me, and the way she was able to get through to me. Thank You, hopefully u remember me Mike Taccardi Class '01
Treats all students with respect and will never talk down to anyone. Everyone is equal. Her openness and compassion shines through everything she does. The DEFINITION of what it is to be a teacher.
I love Ms. Harrington... she cares about her students... she has the most patience I have ever seen in a teacher... I think I would have dropped out of IB if it wasn't for her.
She's nice and patient but constantly has to remind you how nice and patient she is. It's like she is applying for sainthood.
She thinks of her students learning before giving them grades. To her, we give ourselves the grade by how mcuh we think and learn. --Mark W.
The class is well worth it and everyone is given time to do the work, even with all the stress of IB...Do Not Underestimate the power of "The Games."
Awesome. Can be a friend and a great teacher. LOTS of work, but well worth it
Her patience and understanding combine with a heavy sense of realism in her classroom. She challenges students to think out of the box.
