Sulo is simply the EASIEST teacher on campus. He's my savior in math, and seriously who wouldn't like this guy? He gives freebies on tests, he doesn't care if you use your phone, he clears up any questions you have, and reviews exactly what's going to be on the test the day before. Plus I'm in his H precalc and you "technically" get no homework. This man has an amazing heart and awesome intentions. #SULOISMYHERO Also he can bench 135, not bad for a guy his age at all like srsly.
Had him for Algebra 2 and Pre-Calc. He teaches you well enough to get an A on the test, if you don't fall asleep to his voice. As long as you pay attention, you'll be fine. For Alg2- put in effort in his homework and make sure you understand everything. don't be afraid to ask him questions. For precalc- pay attention and take notes, and ask questions. put decent effort in understanding his study guide, and you'll be fine. his pre-test reviews are almost like the test.
This class was definitely not the best experience, but if you manage to stay awake and pay attention, you should be able to ace the class easily. His lectures are really straight forward and although he explains thing pretty well, his voice is so monotonous I only listen to half of what he says. Honestly even if people barely pay attention in class, you can go to his class during lunch and ask for some help. He has an extreme curve that saves many students. Most tests are really easy.
Not the most fun teacher, but definitely a good one if you pay attention. It really is an easy class if you pay attention and make an effort! I enjoyed his class. His tests are basically give to you either in study guide or what he goes over in class. People that don't do well in the class are the ones who always sleep when he's lecturing. He's a really nice person and helped me out a lot! Just ask him questions when you don't understand and make sure he knows your name.
Although he only explains using the textbook, you know how to do the homework problems, which is very similar for the test. He doesn't really teach much concepts, but it's enough to get you an A. Really nice, but to some girls he might be disagreeable.
Easiest teacher on campus. Has a really high curve. Easy game easy life
easiest teacher on campus if you listen and work hard. do the assignments conscientiously and you'll be fine. you good?
He is a really easy teacher and his tests are basically the same thing as his class. He doesn't grade homework, so I rarely do the problems he assigns, but I always go over the type of questions that he tells you are going to be on the test. He plays favorites a lot, especially with the girls, so if you're a guy, he won't pay much attention to you. He also curves the grading so most people end up with good grades.
I'm on the Cross Country team, and all he really does is give us the motivation talk, he rarely runs due to a knee injury other than that he sometimes plays favorites, but hes pretty cool and really really into this sport
Easiest teacher ever. He curves 84% to an A, which is so awesome. Just pay attention in class, because it's the same as the test.
Well well, Mr.Tomasulo. WHEN IS HE GOING TO RETIRE?
i'm always the first one to be in class cus it's super close. When i say hi to him, he gives me that kind of "hi" meaning "i don't wanna talk to you". Apparently I'm not one of his favorite girls. All he does is flirt with cute girls, that's it. He blocks the whole board when he teaches, and he talks really soft. During my year both of his parents died, and i feel sorry for him, but that's it. He sucked at teaching -________-
Mr. Tomasulo is known for being really nice to girls, which is true. If you're a girl, he'd be more than willing to answer your questions in details. I found it helpful. But if you're a guy, I don't k
I could not understand a thing he taught in class. The class was always boring. He was very ineffective, and he played favoritism.
He's a very nice old man, but he gets a bit touchy with girls. You definitely want Tomasulo if you're in Reg. Pre-cal since he's the easiest.
Easy class. He tells you exactly what to study. He's willing to help if you ask.His teaching, on the other hand, is a bit.. boring, and though he has good intentions, he can be a little.. disturbing.
He has good intentions but is repetitive and harasses his Varsity runners, especially the girls. If you sit up front, he'll harass you too. Pay attention in class, but his tests have tricky questions.
he's super nice.. but he teaches EXTREMELY slowly. he spends like a month on algebra. doesn't cover the vast subject material that other schools cover.
ehh... hes an okay teacher but he doens't noe how to teach no offense. but he is very kind and nice, he gives you plenty of time to practice b4 the test, i think hes okay. i like hes writing... but hope he doesn't always writing in CAPS. one amazing thing about his class. he curves ur grade since he doens't count hw . like a 86% would be A. hope that never changes :D hes awesome like this
Most coaches do not have the dedication that Coach Tomasulo does. I admire him, as well as Coaches Branson and Lawrence, for their unceasing dedication to sports.
he's weird and always sits on students' desks, and when he lectures, he voice is like...m-o-n-o-t-o-n-e...so annoying, and he stares off into space and grading style is so hard.
Best coach ever! Cares about you a lot. The previous rater didnt notice this was a xc page- no wonder he/she failed the math class!
Great teacher you just need to be able to practice the problems over and over again to understand it. Or else just ask questions in class. Great XC/Track coach too, very encouraging.
I dont know why the previous rater said what they said. Coach is a great person. Nice toward females-yes, but he would never do bad things to them. He notices you if you're trying your best, not fast.
patient coach... waits for u to understand wat he wants u to know.
The hardest thing to do in his class is...not fall asleep.
HA! Someone (me, 2006 sophomore harhar) finally made a cross country version! Now every single post will be good! MUWHAHA! Ahem, sorry, awesome coach he is. Wise and inspirational.
He does his best to teach his students and help them understand.I feel that it's sometimes our fault because we don't ask questions when we need to.Why isn't he registered for XC?!
Bad at teaching. Unclear & hard to understand. Struggle on homework and tests. Hard to get an A in the class. Boring and monotone. Fast at correcting test though. DIdnt learn much.
i think it's awesome that he used to be on the air force and i think it sucks that kids think he's such a bad teacher. if you do homework, ask questions, and review it'll be fine.
His examples on the board are directly from the book which doesn't help us at all and even I did the homework, I still can't get a few of the questions on the test.
nice person. overly optimistic about his teaching style and effectiveness. class is VERY hard.
i dont have him as my math teacher however he is a very good coach i've been under his coaching for lets see about 2 years i've improved my mile time by at least 2 mins
hehe i dont have him as a math teacher, but he's the xcountry coach so .. im a freshman and he's so helpful and a really really nice guy. :]
Even though his is a little weird sometimes, he still tries to help students so that is good. i just don't like the fact the he only base your grade on tests. ONLY TESTS!
Had him for AlgB, my freshmen year. Also my cross country and long distance coach. Great man, great teacher and an honor to know.
spent the whole year trying to understand his jokes. still dont get what hes trying to say. i guess hes a good teacher, but its hard to hear from the back.
nicest person ever! knows what he's talking about, willing to help out
He is a very nice person and a very nice teacher. I had him for Alge 2 and PreCal this year.
From an alum...great teacher but was always referred to as the "human flea" back in the day...:)
