I had her for precal and struggled a little in the beginning and what I discovered is if she offers you help take in it. I started going in after school for help with other students and it was beyond helpful. Also she does come off intimidating in the beginning but she is a very reasonable and nice person and cares about her students and their grades. Another thing she tends to like the kids who go in for help and creates strong relationships with them which is important junior year.
Malo is definitely my favorite teacher. Yes, she is a strict grader and the class is so fking hard, but she is extremely knowledgeable about econ, and truly wants to help her students. She stayed after school with me for countless hours to help me on econ, and she even came in the weekend before APs to give us two study days with her. I got a B in her class first semester, but I got 5s on both the AP Econ exams. I wouldn't have if I had any other teacher. Thanks Malo!
Great teacher for both Econ and MV/Diff EQ, but she can be very hard. She certainly has favorites, but I wouldn't say she cuts them any slack. She's also always available. If you need help go in. She's either there to help, or will have a student on hand to answer your question if she can't.
She definitely knows her stuff. She actually cares about not just our grades, but about our study habits and whether or not we truly understand the concepts.
I had Malo for both AP Econ and MV Calculus. Her classes are by no means easy and you really have to work to get a solid A. However, she's an amazing and fun teacher, frequently available for help, knows what's she doing, and a very fair teacher. Just don't commit any of her pet peeves!
hard teacher. but always avaliable for help and truly goes out of her way to make sure you get the help you need. shes not mean, she just cares about her students. great teacher.
A really good teacher for economics. Is nice and willing to help you and get your grade up. Don't know why people say she's really mean.
Good AP Econ teacher, makes things pretty clear. That said, she picks a couple of favorites and they're good to go. Get her on her bad side and watch out. And she's a tad psycho, one second she's all happy and joking and the next second she's screaming like none other.
i kept switching what i thought about her throughout the semester. but now i realize she really is good. she ALWAYS makes herself available...so take advantage of it!
She knows her material, but she has no tolerance for anyone who doesn't. i.e., any students that take her class.
really friendly and nice Knows what shes talking about & willing to help! The class is boring sometimes tho. She should teach in other ways tho-not only lecture
she is really nice and knows what she is talking about (AP Economics) but the class can be very boring at times. Should do other things instead of lecture only.
MAkes APECON understandable...great teacher, and a great person. What more could you ask for?
Very helpful. She will stay with you up throught 4 to help you on an assignment. She is very challenging but fairly clear
very nice! Good AP ECON teacher. not afraid to curse :) funny.
great econ teacher. Very nice! Sometimes the class is boring though.
vvery nice, and a good ap econ teacher. I don't know about math, but i like econ. Could be less boring though.
I got a 5 on the ap thanks to her, she would work with me during lunch after school, etc great teacher
she is a very nice lady who wants the best for her students but cant help them succeed
not the most clear teacher. She puts questions on test that we have never learned before and makes up twist our mind!!!
she might not be good at teaching math, however she definately knows her economics. She majored in it and is so far a good ap econ teacher. very nice too.
Ms. M is truly awful. She can't teach, and she enjoys seeing people struggle in class.
Ms. M is one of the best. She dedicates so much time to her students and I am very amazed at these ratings. She's fair, nice, and smart in math. She's great!
she teaches the material well, but often, not well enough for her own tests. in any case, if you actually do all the homework and go in for help, you'll do fine
Should help students more in the classroom and not at lunch
Not everyone can be Mr. Jernigan, but she still tries hard. I like her and I think she's funny. She could be a great teacher if she were a little more clear.
