I took several classes with Ms. Watchie roughly 20 years ago Health, weight training, P.E.. I looked her up because of how great she was and because of the subtle influence she made in made in my life. I'd be a total drunk loser today were it not for her. Ms. Watchie is guilty of using real life to make real changes in studeShe knew I missed a few days due to powder days but she also recognized that I was keeping up with my work as she accepted my excuses reluctantly. Love to you Ms. Watchie
I had her myself for 2 of my school years for EMT and sports exercise, and honestly she wasn't a very good teacher, for example when asked for another copy of a sheet, she responded to me as if I had offended her in all aspects of life. I never slacked off, got my BLS card and passed, but her attitude is unbelievable, if you ask another student about her at school, you WILL find that most students DON'T like her due to her attitude.
She has been an inspiration to me, and I have learned more than just school qualities from her. I've learned a great amount from her, from lifelong skills for a career to becoming a better person as a whole. I could not emphasize any more that every student at TJ should take her Emergency Response class before they (hopefully) graduate. She will go out of her way to help you pass if you express that you want to participate.
She is a very inspiring woman. She is a role model and inspiration to me and everyone who walks a foot in her door, or just simply knows her name. Without her, I wouldn't be pursuing college this coming summer. I strongly encourage others to take her ER class and join SkillsUSA if you get the chance...
ER was fun, Dont get on her bad side. She can be intimidating at time, but as long as you volunteer shes coo w/u
hella fun teacher. but ya dont slack off, and she'll be your best friend. Fun Fun Fun! very down to earth ER is a great class.
She truely inspired me, and I'll never forget that. How far she'll go to help someone is beyond any limits. If you don't like her, you don't know her. And you have much to learn.
She's cool and very nice if you don't slack off or skip class, a lot. Yes, her talking sounds condescending to students, but that's the way she talks. She was very nice to me even when I did give her attitude, which surprised me. I liked her, a lot!
I think she is an okay teacher but she has MAJOR mood swings. One second she can be totally nice and cordial and the next second, she is yelling in your face. She's way to overreactive about things and sometimes the way she talks seems really degrading.
Her health class is aparently great, however her team sports class is neither very fun or challenging.
Don't come to class jacked up and you'll learn a lot.
Ms. Watchie taught me so much in her ER health class. She helped me figure out what I want to do after high school. She's awesome!!
She's nice! And she's very straight forward and doesn't try to b.s. anybody!
