She is legitimately a nice person, but also legitimately a terrible and catastrophic teacher. Ask to change classes immediately or self-study as fast as you can. The only good thing about her is that she doesn't give too much homework. Class time is always spent doing worksheets or activities even though she hasn't taught anything about it yet. For the record, she's taught 4 lessons so far, two of which were not understandable because she had not taught anything previous to that.
HOLY CRAP WHAT AM I DOING IN THIS CLASS? ITS SUCH A WASTE OF TIME AND IM NOT LEARNING ANYTHING! SHE GRADES EVERYTHING SUPER HARD AND DEMANDS TISSUE BOXES FOR EXTRA CREDIT. I WANT TO DROP OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL AND DIE
After 30 seconds of actual teaching, she'll start getting into a story about the news or diabetes or some other random stuff. If you memorize the words from the flashcards you do and conjugations of words, then you'll pass with flying colors. Then you can just daydream or sleep or something for the rest of the class period.
She never says when the tests are, then tells you on the day of a test, always goes off topic about how wonderful spain is and how you should visit europe, but then says those of you who go to europe for vactions are spoiled. she starts about a million movies, but only finishes about five of them. she's a horrible teacher. and she talks about diabetes too much.
All she talks about is diabetes. If you yawn in class be prepared to have your parents get a call that you should be tested for diabetes. Easy class because it is all extra credit. Tests straight from the book and same every time. Doesn't tell you when tests are and never finishes stories, but not strict at all. Good luck!
She's a good person. Extremely generous and thoughtful of others buuuuuuuuut doesn't teach well and ultimately leaves it to you to teach yourself from the book. Movies are both dubbed/subtitle in spanish -______- plus we continue the movie every other day instead of consecutively. Quizzes/tests are tough w/o studying but the multiple choice ones that are a bundle of that chapter's quizzes/tests are easy. Oral presentations must be memorized! No cards unless you want points taken off
I got by Spanish 3 with a B-. She's aware that there's cheaters. The best thing to do is do the flashcards early and colored for extra credit. They're worth over 50 points. If she asks for more extra credit, do it. It helps keep your grade up, especially since I got really low test scores. Don't do the workbook work until she posts the answers on the projector, it's not real homework, but it gets turned in at the end of semester. She gets off topic, tells lots of stories, and speaks english a lot
Get the answer key for the tests and you are set.
One of the best teachers I've ever had. Her class was fun. She is a very encouraging and caring teacher. I definitely learned a lot from her.
She was my favorite teacher, I feel bad that the whole class bagged on her, but then after we all realized she was so nice, and caring. I wish she was still here at Walnut. She got let off =(
she is like the easiest teacher on campus. just do whatever she tells you to do and boom guaranteed A+ along with surfing the internet for fun. just get on her good side and you're all good.
Good teacher - cares about us and is helpful. If you want to learn something useful and an interesting teacher, take her class - you won't regret!
Very bad teacher, dont take her class. Mean and selfish and anoying.Worset teacher I have ever had. No one in my class likes her, we all hate her.
One of the best teachers I have. She's flexible and easy to talk to. She gives her students chance to improve their grades. Take her class, you won't regret.
Really Mean Teacher , Think herself is perfect. She is nnoying all the time. Dont take her class!!!!
i have her for computer applications. she cannot speak english. always talks about the future and your life at work. she is extremely annoying. keyboarding? take jacoby instead.
I believe she's a good teaher. She cares about her students. She doesn't put up with nonsense but she has a good sense of humor. If you care to learn and are not lazy you will do well in her class.
i have her for keyboarding and she never shuts up about working for the government, the bay area, and things we need to know to be employed in the future. cant speak english either.
Nice and helpful teacher. She can be funny too. She gets annoyed when we don't study and take notes ...but hey if you're prepared for the quizzes, you will do well like me :)
worst teacher you will have have in spanish!does not teach at all and just talks about annoying stuff which has nothing to do with spanish&is really moody.won't learn spanish
she never tells us when tests r nd when hw is due...
one of the most boring class i had at walnut.. i stopped taking spanish after.. i just barely got by spanish 2
Nice person, but talks a lot about non-Spanish related things. Be prepared for a test every day, because she never tells you, and pulls an Ay! I told you b4!
Weird teacher. Hard to understand what she says and you never know when there is a test or there is homework. Not the best teacher to learn from.
She's easy and she'll get the info across to you eventually....has lots of (relatively) funny stories....but she never tells you when the tests are!
