Mr. Nawrotzky was the teacher I liked the most at TJ...After many, many years, I still remember what I learned in Calculus!

I was one of Mr. Nawrotzky's students a very long time ago (1985-1986) He was a fantastic, very compassionate math teacher. I would have failed calculus if it wasn't for his patience and dedication.

You teach yourself, and hopefully do well on the tests, because they're 90% of your grade.

He's not a teacher. He assigns problems, then goes over them. I have yet to see one of his proofs (its almost 2nd semester of Alg II). Doesn't usually explain.

Just as above; pretty easy, not much teaching. We routinely have about 15 or 30 minutes at the end of class to work on homework or talk.

Mr. Nawrotzky's BC-Calc whizzed through the material - we had a month off at the end. I found myself playing rousing games of chess. He helps outside of class.
