I had her for one semester of English II accelerated. Her class was enjoyable and entertaining--lots exciting discussions. Unfortunately, these were almost always off topic. She just wanted to talk about controversial political issues to get the class riled up, especially around the presidential election. She used only about 20 min per class period to actually teach English, so that when test day arrived, we were unprepared. Grades were updated rarely. Good person, not good sophomore Eng teacher

Entertaining class discussions but worst teacher. Yells out assignments as the bell rigs and is very last minute In grading things. Gets off schedule and hurries tests because she realizes she is behind. Had the clad take a surprise final because she realized she only had three weeks to assign the final paper.

she's a great teacher, but totally elitist... she thinks she is definetely "smarter" than everyone else. luckily she's a good teacher so it makes up for her thinking so highly of herself

here's the thing about Coix. She's very fun to listen to, and it is one of most fun classes you will take, but my writing was totally screwed over by that class, she doesn't teach you hardly anything, just be ready for that.
