I had her for one semester of English II accelerated. Her class was enjoyable and entertaining--lots exciting discussions. Unfortunately, these were almost always off topic. She just wanted to talk about controversial political issues to get the class riled up, especially around the presidential election. She used only about 20 min per class period to actually teach English, so that when test day arrived, we were unprepared. Grades were updated rarely. Good person, not good sophomore Eng teacher
Entertaining class discussions but worst teacher. Yells out assignments as the bell rigs and is very last minute In grading things. Gets off schedule and hurries tests because she realizes she is behind. Had the clad take a surprise final because she realized she only had three weeks to assign the final paper.
The people saying she is ambiguous and full of herself need to wake up. Croix's tangents are the most educational lectures ever. She's a philosophy teacher at heart, and she teaches her English classes like one. If you lis
Directions are very ambiguous. My friends and I were always calling each other for clarification on the assignments. Grades not updated very often. Big assignments done for completion credit(???) Lazy
Is very deceptive with grades, for example she gives work back with a certain amount of points and they show up in the grade extremely weighted, and grades are not updated very often
everyone that loves her is an underachieving student that doest even know the grammatical difference between our and are, and pretend to be inspired by her useless "philosophical" discussions. didnt learn anything.
I have learned more in her World Lit class than any other English class I've ever taken. Her class is difficult, but she explains everything so well and really prepares you for college. Love her!
She's such an amazing teacher, the sort you don't find anymore. she conveys ideas on such a deeper and more relevant level than 99% of teachers, that i left her class every day feeling moved.
I LOVE CROIX... shees soooo amazing and even if shes of topic about a subject it usually comes in handy somewhere along the line of life! shes such a funny teacher and you can get her talking all day long!!
She is one of the best teacher I've ever had. Sure, she might go off track at times but the topics that she talks about really open your eyes to new things and realize to see situations from a different aspect in life.
she's a great teacher, but totally elitist... she thinks she is definetely "smarter" than everyone else. luckily she's a good teacher so it makes up for her thinking so highly of herself
here's the thing about Coix. She's very fun to listen to, and it is one of most fun classes you will take, but my writing was totally screwed over by that class, she doesn't teach you hardly anything, just be ready for that.
probably the most intelegent teacher at aliso niguel. the only teacher with an actual mind of their own, and she'll teach you about english, literature, society and over she'll just change your life.
Ms.Criox is a very open minded teacher, she is like a friend and not just a teacher. She is a very wise, and inspirational person and I am gald that I am in her class. -CLASS OF 2009
I think that Ms. Croix is an awesome teacher and there are so many things to learn from her about life that people could never imagine! She is simply the best teacher I have had my whole 4 years in high school
MS. CROIX are a Very best englishs teacher and helped me learn successfully essays and SAT help
She is the best, simply the best. She is what all teachers should be like. She tells you honestly about life and not just the stuff she is told to teach.
Ms. Croix is one of the most entertaining teachers I've had so far. Her stories are unbelievable and tangents about things can go on forever. But you acutally do learn things other than vocab. You learn about life
interesting teacher witha surprisingly open minded view of the world.Good lectures. You can tell she is an intelligent individual and is a good example for the stereotype of teenagers who attend aliso niguel. -Grad 06'
Best teacher I've ever had. Beyond the surface level, actually teaches you something rather than grammar and spelling. One of the only classes that I never wanted to miss.
cool, interesting english teacher. good life lessons/theology for people living in a bubble. could help those of us who know whats going on/ dont live in a bubble a bit more thou.
Her class is awsome. She keeps those who dont pay attention to the real world updated, and unlike most english teachers, shes chilllll.
Croix's class was awesome.I was the shy girl in her class, i learned alot of useful things that will help me in life rather than get me a good grade on my test.
Ms. Croix is my fave teacher ever! Her curriculum and the way she presents it is wonderful! I love you Ms. Croix!
Very cool teacher, one of my favorites. Learned a lot from her world history class although the papers can be tough, it was worth it though
If you ever take this class you will love it. You have to be able to work and be able to open your mind. The in class expierence alone is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
very intellectually stimulating class. Incorporates a great deal of philosophy in the class. Loves to boggle your mind. Still an awesome teacher.
she grades so hard that you get one grade level lower than anticipated (A to B; B to C)
Makes life very interesting. She is an awesome teacher and opens you mind
umm i love croix shes a good lady..rock on wit yo bad selfff suckaaaa
Wonderful! Has inspiring lessons and honest opinons the best kind!
She is great but tough on grading essays and sorts like that
