The lectures day after day are long and tedious except when he delves obliviously into awkward topics
he never corrects our assignments so we never know what we have in the class
very nice, a little catty during lab days, but that's understandable. procrastinates a LOT w/ grading. great lecturer, very smart. student must be self-motivated, as he doesn't force you to listen
DON'T ASK HIM FOR A LETTER OF REC HE WILL NOT WRITE IT/TURN IT LATE/NOT SEND IT.
he's a great teacher but you pretty much have to depend on your own initiative in order to perform really well. a tough A but a definitely good source of AP prep.
Acts robotic, but still an excellent teacher. He prepares you for the AP test very well. Dont expect any easy assignments from him.
You'll be sick of Jolly Ranchers by the end of the year. He's scary at times but really nice.
hes nice and all, but tests are hella hard, dates for hw are unclear, tests can pop up!
AP Bio w/Howell was good stuff. Lots of labs, but they were fun, and it prepared me well for the AP. His lectures were pretty interesting too.
He makes the korniest jokes, but his posters are hillarious. He's a cool teacher but his class isn't the easiest.
His lectures sometimes make me fall asleep. But overall he is pretty good.
I LOVE MR HOWELL! nice and teaches well. his tests are kinda hard, but his labs are hecka fun. he's so smart and i love his jokes/pranks. he shoots ruberbands
I suffered so badly in his class last year because his tests were ridiculously hard. Come time for the AP bio test i got a 4. So i'm happy. The labs were fun.
I still don't know if there's a test next week or not. If there is, I'm doomed!!...cuz i'm studying for AP's rite now! >:-(
Mr. Howell is very nice but he never gets your work graded! Due dates are always unclear and sometimes nasty surprises.
the tests are so hard that the curve will give you an A with 60 percent! he gives you candy a lot.
