great teacher and coach no complaints
She's a great teacher. The material learned in class isn't very difficult, but the tests can be frustrating. The most frustrating part of the tests are the multiple choice questions since they can be anywhere from 4-5 points a piece. So you can really know all the material really well, but still get a few wrong and do badly. Make sure you get full credit on the worksheets and homework since they are really important as a buffer for your grade.
arguably the hardest/pickiest BC calc teacher, gets defensive about her grading.
I fell asleep and shes really picky about stuff, but will get you a 5 and an A if you want it.
She's very knowledgeable about the subject and wants to help her students understand it. Fair grader.
She's a nice teacher but can get frustrated at times. Tests are hard though and a very picky grader.
Frustrating. I got A's in all previous math classes at TJ, but got a C+ in her class. I got a 5 on the AP, but I think I would have regardless. She's also defensive when you ask her math questions ..
She is a very fair grader, whether you like it or not. She understand subject material well. I think you probably lose something in the class if you choose not to participate.
Didn't know anything about the last chapter of multivar or any of linear. Unless she liked you will not assign partial credit, because she doesn't know what she's doing. Good in BC, terrible otherwise
she knows absolutely nothing about Multivar or Linear. She never gives me partial credit on tests, even when my errors are addition related. All her tests and powerpoints come from the internet.
Good teacher. I have her for BC Calc. She actually grades the HW tough, but it's not too bad. There are lots of extra credit opportunities. Make sure to turn in HW early. She teaches well.
One of the best math teachers I've ever had in terms of content- she is very good at explaining concepts- but a VERY hard grader. I'll get Bs and Cs on tests of concepts that I would completely understand and then study for 2 hours before the test. The multiple choice questions are really killer. very hard to negotiate grades with. But if you are willing to get less worked up with the grades and instead focus on how well you understandthe math, you will realize how effective her methods are.
Either calculus is really interesting, or Gabriel just works magic on you. I finally like math again, thanks to her. She's wonderful at teaching and helping you with homework, although the tests are hard because she's a picky grader (but I suppose it's to prepare for the AP exam). Very approachable and teaches at a nice pace.
super cool. Have her in math team and calc. Super cool.
If you're good at math, then you'll do fine. She is, however, very picky about keeping your work organized and proper. I guess that's because of the A.P., which by the way was insanely easy. I don't know if that was just because it's naturally easy, but she definitely did her part to prepare the students for the test.
i had her for the first half of the year shes a good teacher but can be boring if youre not a math person dont take her class
Taugt way too fast for me - I had to learn it from the book, which didn't always explain stuff well enough.
The best math teacher I ever had. I hate math and have never been great at it, but I understand when she teaches and she's willing to help.
Really nice lady. I enjoy her class to the max. It makes my even days even more interesting.
My favorite teacher. She made senior year fun and worth going to.
doesnt teach too well... just does problems on the board.
Great teacher, and fun. Switch in early because she fills up...
Nice lady, dedicated, and you'll know math when ure done. I got a 5 in BC!
can ask her questions even if it's intimidating. she's nice
i'm bad at math, but i love it anyway because of her
Very good teacher...best math teacher I ever had, really.
