A great compassionate teacher, helped me with my college application and then getting information even later when I was applying to transfer schools.

Hate him. a conceited fool who has no respect for his students/colleagues. He once wasted a class talking about cranberry juice, and made us write and perform a play in one night.

Didn't teach much; spent most of the time telling stories about himself. Fairly easy class, with a few minutes of homework each day (Be sure to do it). Arrive on-time and you'll be fine.

He doesn't teach, all he talks about is how he knows Connie Francis and other things about himself, and he thinks he's a great teacher. Which is totally wrong!

Ok teacher, tends to get mean at times, spends most of the period telling his experiences of life, does no work most of the time, and brags. But he is easy though, no doubt about that.

I think that Mr.Niglio is amazing ^_^. I had him for the SHSI program and he was the first teacher to make me cry but he ended up being my fave. He's a really sweet person and you should take his class- you'll get good grades

He's a really great teacher, and he's generous with his grades/recommendation letters. But you will catch nine types of hell and probably a 15 minute lecture if he knows you don't have your HW. (Lectures randomly sometimes).

Dr. Niglio is a compassionate man who goes out of his way to help others. He offsets the insanity and coldness one feels in a school like Stuyvesant with his charisma and warm personality. Nigs allows you to be yourself.

Took Spanish w/ Mr. Niglio in '85 & '86, Portuguese '88-'89. Loved his class- always fun & I learned. 20+ yrs later I am fluent in Spanish, speak Portuguese pretty well and am studying Italian. He truly inspired me.

The most helpful teacher in all of stuyvesant. I, as well as many parents go to him when we need help because many of the other people working there are quite rude.
