Mr. Arigan is really knowledgeable, he tries hard to get his students to listen and understand, and he's great at teaching. While he does make some rude remarks at times, he really does care about all his students. It's like a parent, who criticizes but cares.
Mr. Arigan is pretentious and spends most of class time degrading us as students and our school. He constantly says private schools and France is so much better than us. He tells us to ask questions if we don't understand something but he cannot understand our questions or even hear us say them. But he will write you a nice letter of recommendation if you need one.
RIP Mr.Arigan you will be greatly missed i dont know where you went but plz come back soon

Monsieur is a man who lives for his students. I respect and adore him on so many levels and the love he has for his students is so visible. Although his class is challenging, it's life-changing. His class taught me to learn, not just to be a student.
Horrible teacher makes crude jokes and degrades students. May be over qualified but bad teaching skills. Everything is paper based little to no english. Hate him. Ruined my freshmen year
Mr. Arigan is one of the greatest if not the greatest teachers at Rancho. He is truly caring for his students and actually wants us to learn and succeed not just in his class but also in life. He teaches us many life values and French culture
Monsieur's class may not be the easiest nor the most exciting, but he is the most caring teacher I have ever met. He genuinely cares about each and every one of his students and teaches life lessons along with the French language. The AP French literature is difficult, but his explanations and interpretations are pretty thought provoking. Prepare for a lot of french grammar though.
He taught us more than we ever appreciated back in high school but if you succeed in his class for 4 years you will not regret it in college.
Mr. Arigan is a magnificent teacher, and although his class is difficult, it is one of the classes that I have learned the most. teaches you about life and not only french.
He is nice and great with teaching, but the class material tends to be more difficult.
Arigan is truly a great man. When in his class you not only learn French, you learn to respect. This man has been teaching college since he was sixteen years old. I'm sixteen and I'm a Junior. I don't
His class is very hard. But he is a great teacher because he actually tries to get you to understand the language.
such a hard class, like ap standards but is really caring
m.arigan is a very strict teacher...but one of the most caring. he teaches french like teachers are supposed to teach he helps me a lot and im thankful im in his class but i have to pay more attention
Great teacher! It is a challenge, but u learn. I feel like I spent last year just sitting in Mr. Wood's class. However misunderstands/doesn't understand questions well due to his deafness.
WARNING: Take another French teacher if you can, but if you want the challenge go for it. You have to pay extreme attention or you'll be repeating French during summer school.
M. Arigan is a good teacher but he brags way too much, also, he talks about France as if it is heaven and about French people as if they were gods, which they aren't! He needs to be more open minded!
Mr arigan is a great teacher. I've had him for 3 years and counting and I've learned sooo much from him. I was able to go to france and speak fluently thanks to him. And all the people that complain a
Mr. Arigan is a teaches french well, however, he isn't helpful at all. He alse boasts far too much about his accreditation from the presdient of France.
Mr Arigan teaches French VERY WELL, got us through a lot of material, but isn't helpful coz he always misunderstands questions a LOT
