make sure you can learn by reading from the textbook. you can't understand his explanations, they're just too confusing and beyond our comprehension.
He's great if you can just learn math by reading the textbook, but if you NEED a teacher's help, switch out. I loved him cause we talked about life and didn't have to do homework, but I know some people were intimidated.
Mr. Martin was my favorite math teacher in high school. He explains concepts clearly and effectively, and he has lots of funny stories that he tells in class. Just don't be late to class - it's his pet peeve!
Mr. Martin spends, on average, one quarter of the class not discussing math.
I love him as a person and the conversations we have are awesome...i've learned more about life than math. He's cool though...
Insesitive, demeaning, should not be a teacher. Stick to coaching track and picking your favorites!
Extremely unconventional, intelligent and openminded. We always have the most interesting discussions about life and society.
just bc you dont have enough common sense to follow the simple math that he teaches doesnt mean he isnt a compassionate genius
should move to paris and stay there...just sit in the back of class and do whatever you want because hes not worth listening to and he wont pay attention
Has gotten to the point of senility where the arrangement of the desks is more important than math. I do appreciate the unconventional teaching style.
jeez, he's the worste teacher i've ever had in my life. He doesn't explain anything, he's very vagues about things, he'll call you stupid in front of everyone!
Attempts to give off an air of superiority to impress/intimidate students when in actuality is an arrogant man-believes he is above unions, other teachers.
Mr. Martin rocks my teenage party. He is the greatest teacher ever. period.
Goodbye Newton! (I'm graduating). Okay teacher. Good luck.
By far the best teacher i have ever had, because he not only taught a mean math class, but he taught us all SO much about life!
the most educated, intelligent man you will ever meet. you need to gain his respect to do well in the class, and that requires hard work-well worth the effort.
Seriously, the best teacher I ever had and will have.
