I had Mr.Rosenstein back in 1973. He was anecdotal and a man of strong political opinions. At the time I was a strong supporter of Richard Nixon. Mr. Rosenstein was quite liberal. I was hoping to see him at my 40th high school reunion. I wanted to tell him that my political leanings have changed over the years and I supported Bernie Sanders. I recalled that Mr. Rosenstein had a lot of energy and paced back and forth when doing his lessons. I heard he is still teaching. Go Mr. Rosenstein!
Forget his teaching abilities (which are amazing). I was an A-AP student. He predicted my upcoming downwards spiral; left me words to live by; and right before I hit rock bottom and the point of no-return; his words came back to me and I saved myself--or maybe he saved me. I'd probably be dead today, or at least I wouldn't be a college graduate with a masters, if it was not for the harsh words he once had for one of his top students. How he saw the future is beyond me.
Had him in 1982,1983. extremely knowledgeable and fun. our politics couldn't have been more different but he is an excellent teacher.
This is the man who defines great teacher. Predicted my future almost incident to incident years before it happened.
He had a thing against people who went to HofstraPostAdelphi. He also had a thing against Economics and completely screwed me for college Econ. Glad to know that I had better teachers after him.
OMG Rosenstein is amazing! Hes an awesome teacher, and Im glad to have one with some personality for a change! 'The best pizza has so much grease it'll go up to your shoulder' XDDD
Had him 1998-2000... good teacher, loves Bengle-fricken-desh
I was in Mr Rosenstein's 7H class at Packard MS during 77-78...he cared for his students and truly loved to teach. There is no North Dakota!

Rosenstein was one of teh best teachers I had at Plainedge. His class was so easy as long as you did the reading the period before his class.
Has the best stories around. How do you like your pizza??
I had this guy in the 70's!! Intelligent, intellectual, but should show care for all his students.
Rosenstein rocks. He is atrue honors teacher. If you don't do the work it your problem and is funny as hell!!
Good teacher but shows too much favoritism, too hung up on elite colleges
Most of the time he is nice and funny but sometimes he can get a little obnoxious.
