She is a very knowledgeable teacher who has a very structured and competitive class environment. She can answer any question you have. The most important thing for her class is to BE AWAKE AND FOCUSED. If you do that, you will get it well. If you have her 1st period like I did, and you aren't a morning person, its gonna be tough. She does a very good job of determining how much effort you put into the class, which does affect her grading on your tests and quizzes. That's what I learned, anyway.
Very reasonable teacher... You learn so quickly in class that you barely need to study at home.-Spanish 1 student
Hella easy teacher, but when it comes to her teaching math... it would seem like the class is teaching her instead of her teaching us. She makes many mistakes and the students always correct her. Better Spanish teacher than math teacher, for sure. Other than that she's really nice!
Grades tests very arbitrarily. You could get two or thee wrong on a 25 point quiz and somehow fail it.
Mrs. Shapiro is a great teacher and prepares her students for the next year. Plus she is kind and funny.
She goes over problems before a quiz/test on those days, and don't talk a lot and get on her bad side. If you get good grades she'll remember your name and treat you pretty good. She hates talkers.
Homeroom teacher. Started out extremely strict and probably hated us but loosened up to us as time went on.
spanish: sarcastic to the point where its a routine...but its overall enjoyable...she is the fastest spanish 1 teacher @ bell compared to the others
Mr. Gamboa is always friendly and a great teacher. I like his class
