His class is almost exactly like the college course I'm taking now. Chemistry is a difficult subject and I think he prepares students for such classes in the future.

Mr. Sherwood has the most interesting personality I have ever seen in a teacher, he goes off topic often, but its fun and productive in some way, he gives alot of work, but its not hard IF you LISTEN.

He's definitely a character... knows his chem but sometimes gives confusing explanations. Class is mainly lab-based, and the labs are extremely difficult and require much pre-explanation that often isn't done. Once you understand his lab, you will ace his tests. Be prepared for long hours of chem homework. Ask about the atomic shuffle; you'll love it. Easily wastes class time but most stories are fairly productive :).

I thought Mr. Sherwood was a terrible teacher, but he was a wicked cool guy! He knows that his curriculum is impossible but he wants his students to succeed. He tries to be as helpful as he can too, and I respect him. Also, I got a 40 average in his class and he just rounded it up to a 65! Thank you Mr. Sherwood!

Mr. Sherwood needs to learn how to slow down when he talks and write neater and stop saying wicked or abbreviating it. Otherwise he's a really good teacher.

Great teacher, can make chemistry more interesting but there's a ton of work that's expected to be done on your part obviously if you're in honors

Mr. Sherwood is a good guy, he's funny and he has great stories but he doesn't know how to answer questions. he's extremely smart but he doesn't understand that sometimes his students don't get what he's saying. he goes at a fast pace and most of the time students are trying to figure out what he's writing. he should work on the handwriting.

Mr. Sherwood had atrocious handwriting and a short fuse. He also said some mean stuff to kids. He was a decent teacher, but not all that approachable or easy to get along with.

He doesn't teach that much and when he does you can't read what he writes and it is very confusing. Chem is hard though so I don't blame him.
