Mr S was an absolutely brilliant teacher. He not only told me a lot about music but a lot about life as well. I can handle myself professionally now thanks to the lessons he has taught and how he runs his own class. He challenges you to be your very best and he brings out the best from his students. My high school experience would not have been the same without him and I appreciate all that he has done for me. He puts his all into the music program.
I had Mr. Siemsen as my choir teacher for two years. I first had him in Concert Choir, and I learned so much under his teaching. I never thought of myself as a great singer, but with Mr. Siemsen he really inspires students to feel confident in themselves by really bringing out their personalities through music. Madrigals by far made my senior year memorable. The songs and memories are unforgettable, and I still think about my Madrigal days every single day. Choir is the best!
Mr. Siemsen has been my teacher for three years now in Madrigals. He really inspired me to do my best musically and I have learned so much from him. Not only about music but about life. I really can say I'm a better person because of him. I have learned to be responsible and organized and to prioritize things in a way that will be conducive to my education, but will also benefit me as a human being. He is probably one of the reasons I'll be going to USC next year too. Fight on, Mr. Siemsen! :)
I had him for two years, and he really made those two years some of the best in High School for me. He can be strict at times, but you get used it.
I have great respect and admiration for Ralph Siemsen his hard nose tactics and expectations drove me to perform at the peak of my ability and to hold myself to higher standard than the next guy. And for that I thank him.
Mr. Siemsen is the best mentor a student could ever have. He helps build his student character and asks for excellence in everything they do. He brings out the best in all his students. He's a top-notch, classy person. He's the BEST!
Mr. Siemsen has good character, even though at times he does get a little grumpy, but you get over it. He wants us to give our best performances on stage. He's also very classy and sassy. The best music teacher I've ever had.
He's a nice guy but you have to get to know him first because he is kind of intimidating. Don't get him in a bad mood though because he'll be stuck like that the whole day!
Band is cool. After a concert or performance he likes to take off for a few days, which is nice.
He is simply hardworking and patient. That's what you need to be a good teacher. He is also funny.
