Ranae Marengo taught my children, and I was extremely pleased with her style of teaching, intelligence, and interesting and innovative teaching methods used. On a consistent basis, she incorporated art projects, guest speakers, field trips, writing projects, videos, plays, educational computer games, reenactment of Roman dinners, and other diverse activities to make her subjects come alive for her students. She was an excellent teacher, always fair and inclusive. Homework was appropriate.
Marengo's teaching consists of students copying of written text in silence with little discussion and all hurried. Plays favorites. If non-textbook learning moments arise, she defaults to an odd confrontation style that leaves no winners and no lessons learned.
Ms.Marengo is an awsome teacher! Shes fun, awsome, and jokes around about the stuff that goes with the subject.
