He's a fantastic teacher. Great lectures and labs. He won't always hold your hand, but if you attend the morning review sessions, you'll be fine. A's are easily achievable on his tests if you study well. His class CliffsAP Bio = 5 on the AP test.
Very knowledgeable, and gives fantastic lectures. He makes biology very interest. He won't coddle you though.
Teaches AP Bio like it should be taught! Won't hold your hand. If you need help he's more than willing to give it. Best time to ask for help is BEFORE school. I got a 5
Good Teacher, difficult to figure out his mood though.
He's a good teacher, though he often has favorites in his class. He has his bad and good days, but he's willing to help students and lectures well.
He knows his work, and he expresses his opinions and wants his students to express their opinions. He has his occasional bad days, but he's one of the best science teacher I ever had!
Mr. Hanger does a great job of preparing his students (those who want to learn and will work hard) for the AP test. His class style is mostly lecture, but this just helps to prepare you for college.
The best lecturer I ever had, his class was the most interesting science course I took in high school. Very into biology.
I am in college now as a biology major. He pushes you hard and makes you learn the material with some independent study.he teaches the way college classes are taught.it is good prac
If you care about his class, he'll care about helping you. He treats his class like a college class, and a lot of students can't handle that.
This isn't a class for wusses, that's true. Challenging class, but very interesting. I learned quite a bit. Don't take the class if you are a creationist!
Mr. Hanger expects you to know a lot of things from day one, and isn't very tolerant of people who don't. If you're in AP, go to the review before the test!
Best teacher I ever had....He doesn't waste his time with morons though. Might explain his low score. If you are interested so is he.
I learned more in his biology classes than in two years of college biology!
