nothing is wrong with mr. latimer
We didn't figure out until halfway through the year that the times we thought he was talking to himself he was actually lecturing.
Had him for AI, his first time teaching it. He was a little unclear on some of the concepts, and could have used more lab and less lecture, but he's still a very cool guy.
really knows what he's doing. Really nice & good @ explaining topics. Didn't teach my class, but is helpful in comp lab.
Awesome guy, really lax on projects, but if you want to work your but off you can and he'll help you a lot. He's great for slackers AND for students who really love to learn. Great sense of humor and cool guy. For techlab, be sure to do the documentation!
He's a great guy and his class is easy but fun if you're interested. You might not learn a ton of stuff in his class but that seems to be a similarity shared by many CS classes.
Oh man he's a party! Had him for summer comp sci (as a sub) and he didn't know diddly squat but he always had funny stories and quotable moments...he aboslutely loved my final project. Easy A, but that's the definition of summer school. Not especially helpful but always cool to talk to. It was such a fun class and a real bonding experience for me and my classmates.I learned so much more with him than my original teacher because he'd actually let us go to the lab and fool around with the program.
Whoever said Mr.Latimer is a moron is a moron. I'd like to see him/her teach a CS class.
A very nice, friendly guy. Cares about what he does; obvious he's got more than a passing interest. Grades are arbitrary in the Computer Systems laboratory; just make sure you do the work. Extensive use of Blackboard is a con; you may find yourself doing Blackboard assignments more often than working on your project. A good balance of work and play in the Senior Research experience.
He's a real nice guy in person. His grades are pretty arbitrary though.
real nice, and extremely cool; doesn't teach much, but he runs largely self-guided courses, so that's ok; but beware of his daily rewritten handouts
cool guy, fun to talk to. doesn't really teach anything but will help you if you ask. doesn't just hand out A's but will give them to anyone who works at all
Along with Mr. Holliman, these two Comp Sys lab teachers rock da house
Hate to rate him down(he's such a nice guy)but I wish he had more knowledge/exp.
