Richard is the most important teacher in my life. I'm 40 this year, not a week goes by that his influence on me doesn't come into play. Great man, great teacher, great friend! -Alex Erkiletian
The reason why I scored Richard as fairly easy is because a lot of the assignments we did were creative writing -- which is a strength for me personally. However, I am not much of an essay writer but Richard helped me improve and was willing to help me outside of class. He's a very friendly person and very funny, but still has knowledge about his subject. Thanks to him, I know absolutely adore the American Romance genre and I'm thinking about minoring in creative writing!
He was my advisor and was SO helpful, understanding, and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable in every situation. He's funny and caring. Yay Richard!
Ricardo!! He's so much fun. He loves class discussions about the books. Lots of great stories to share and can be convinced for a class trip to Starbucks. Picks favorites, but not hard to become one.
Classes are a bore; he picks favorites and cant grade a paper without knowing who wrote it. Doesn't read the book notes you take, but manages to slap a number grade on it. Entertaining though.
He is the hardest teacher to read, so it's hard to please him. He asks a lot of open ended questions, but he's a great, funny guy.
He is a great teacher and a funny guy. . . . when your one of his favorite students.
I have never had a teacher that was so enthusiastic about what he was teaching. Richard is hillarious. Never a dull moment with that man.
very good actor and teacher! the best i have ever had
Always hated him. Rude, egotistical, and highly unprofessional.
SOOOO MUCH FUN! goes off topic ( which is cool) a lot and has GREAT stories!!!
Will make the time for you. Make sure you stay on top of your reading. Loves participation. Very approachable.
Seriously one of the world's best and funniest teachers in the world
