I really enjoyed taking AP Spanish with Mr. Mickel because he put so much time and effort into the class. I could tell he has a great passion for the language. I not only thought of him as my teacher but also as my friend.
Mr. Mickel was one of the worst experiences in my school years. His jokes were okay at best and he played class favorites. He really thought he was this smart genius stephen hawking but in reality he was just a guy with mowhawk. His lectures were great and so were his clarity. But ohh boy the assignment are so bland and just pointless. He always tried to talk like Robert Deniro once in a while and that was just annoying. Am I being to harsh maybe because i sent 100+ hours with him...
awesome teacher, very willing to help you with whatever you need. VERY FUNNY tests are somewhat difficult
He really helps us understand material. He cracks jokes sometimes that are actually pretty funny. Dont be afraid to ask questions. He knows you are learning a new laguage and really helps you out.
Mr. Mickel is really funny. He gets off track every once in a while. He is really cool when you get to know him outside of class. If you study and participate, you will pass. He ROCKS!
Very hard to understand. trys to make jokes but are not funny. likes the word cero alot. TESTS ARE EXTREMELY HARD!!!!
Mr. Mickel is alright. I do not like the games that he makes us play.
He is a great teacher. He is one of those teachers that you can actually talk to outside of class. Highly recomend him.
He is ok teacher. I had him for Spanish 1A he is fair grader. Little bit hard than expected.
He's pretty cool. As long as you participate in his class you'll do fine. I dont know about all this "favorites" talk - I think he tries to help everyone do their best.
Mr. Mickel does play favorites.I won't say who with, but it's a known fact. He also flipped out recently and acted very unprofessional toward several students, calling them names.
I don't know what everyone else is saying, but Mr. Mickel was an awesome teacher and I never really noticed him "playing favorites" -- wierd.
Thinks trying to become friends with the students is more important that teaching them.. totally plays favorites, thinks his job is a popularity contest
