He gives an assignment and doesn’t tell us what to do thenafter we do it he gives it back and THEN tell us what we were supposed to do... not the most helpful. He is pretty nice tho.
He's a nice person but his teaching style sucks. He just gives you a ton of readings and just shows you presentations. If you want to learn something, don't take his class. You will regret it because you will fail instead of passing a class you have to take.
Nice guy, smart and passionate about what he teaches, but does not have much insight into what his students are thinking, doesn't make learning super interesting, doesn't know that we're not as passionate and knowledgable as he is. Great for passionate sciency students, but for general students trying to just get the content, he's tricky.
He is a good teacher and a friendly person. His test are some what difficult but he has a perfect retake policy that allows you to show what you learned. He uses powerpoints in many classes but only as a visual add as he explains and teaches. He also adds fun labs and other activities to change things up. Good, smart and helpful teacher.
Super friendly, very helpful, very good teacher. The key to doing well is asking any questions you have, (which he will happily answer) and paying attention to all of the helpful information provided in his slideshows and discussions. Overall, very good teacher, I would recommend taking classes with Imes as your teacher!
Not a bad guy, but incredibly boring, the notes are very long. To get a good grade you just need to memorize a bunch of stuff, thank god he has quiz retakes that are just the other form of the quiz he gives you. It's a good thing they are changing the science system in CVU for the 2016-17 year.
His class is very dry and boring. He uses power point all the time. Notes are not organized. Teats are hard. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS EVERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really nice. Class is pretty straightforward, not hard to do well if you study
It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a science class this much, thanks!
I liked his zoology course, especially learning about birds.
If he's hard, it's because he has high expectations and pushes students to do better. He was always helpful to me an wrote me a great recommendation for college. I appreciate those things more now.
Mr. Imes is really nice, and always willing to help. He knows a ton of science- he even has a couple books out. His lectures might be dull to the uninterested.
he does have a good heart. very nice guy.. needs to update his teaching style to make class easier to sit though though
Mr. Imes is seriously the King of Notes I think he needs to tone it down, and maybe tell us if we really need to take notes, not just say "You can if you want"
Slightely dry but always more than willing to make accomodations for students who need them and to provide help. Has a good heart.
takes forever to grade papers and doesn't explain the grades you finally get
