7:23 is the place to be. And though most people disregard those words as nonsense only to arrive at school on time, those words will forever be in my heart. I can see myself getting married sometime in the future, and my vows to my partner being "7:23 is the time to be", which, is when the wedding will be held. I would like my kids to be born at 7:23. Because, 7:23 is the time to be. Over the threshold, bell to bell. I love you Rick Ross.
Very knowledgeable and passionate. Quite strict however.
Mr. Ross is on of the most dedicated teachers I have ever had the pleasure of being led by. He is always willing to take time out of his own schedule and help students, in person, through email, etc. He has a reputation for being too hard on students, but his high expectations are what allow Shadow Mountain's choirs to travel around the country and excel in Tri-M programs. He can be quick to anger, but truly does care about his students individually. Respect is mutual with him.
Mr. Ross is by far the worst choir director I've ever had the displeasure of ever being taught under. He tries to "connect" with his students but his over-charismatic attitude and constant attempts to seem "cool" in front of the class are what ruin it. He shows extreme favoritism and does things that could easily be interpreted as assault on a daily basis. I love singing but with him as the choir director I will never go back into the class.
