So sad he is not here anymore! Was an awesome teacher!
robb is the best teacher inthe world! he taught me how to write (something that should have been learned BEFORE my junior year :-D) and is incredible!!!!!
not just a teacher, but a person, something rare these days
He's awesome, he's nice, and though he may get a bit agitated at times, he's a great teacher. And he even stood on his head for us once!
Fessler is awesome! He actually taught me how to write.
One of the most caring and compassionate teachers I have ever had. Loves and cares about his students, wants to see them do well. Learned alot (esp. vocab). HILARIOUS guy.
Hes sooo nice and will do anything to help you. Go for extra help and you'll do fine.
A genuinely nice guy and a new-wave teacher, but he can be rather unclear and over emotional at times.
Amazing person. A friend to his students. A short conversation with him in the hallway can make my entire day.
Progressive teacher, and progressive curriculum, which i dont like, i.e. we shouldn't be calling him Robb. But hes a good teacher and a really great guy. Funny.
Robb is the best teacher in the world, he comes up with cool ways to teach things and is always up for input from the class. YOU ROCK ROBB!!!
Robb rocks. Class was fun this year cause we had him and Shauna (our student teacher) and they worked well together. Hard grader tho.
OMG! Definately one of the best teachers I had while at North! Gotta love this guy!
He's Awesome...just work hard and be straightforward with him.
Had him for theatre arts - great guy, helpful, funny, TALENTED...but can be moody and dismissive.
fessler is a great person, but just not a good teacher. He's not clear about things
he is the sweetest person i know. he loves english, and his students. i enjoyed his class a lot.
He will walk through fire to help you learn. I learned a LOT about writing in writing conferences with him this year.
Fessler is the nicest guy EVER! He makes English really fun and he always makes me laugh! Girl, it will be WAR! lol
I got a lot out of his class. He made me a much better writer. He's really helpful, although the writing conferences do go for a long time so that can be a pain
he means well, but he's not an effective teacher and you'll never get feedback on anything you do for his class
hes a really nice and caring person, but is unclear abt his assignments, and never hands anything back...
Mr. Fessler is really nice and has a huge heart. Sometimes his well meaning gets in the way of getting his job done. iF you need him he will be there.
He's really nice and you can talk to him about anything. If you listen to him, he'll make you much better writer. You'll thank him for the vocab after the SAT's
Mr. Fessler really does love english and cared alot about his students...very easy to talk to - but its true that it takes him FOREVER to hand back assignments!
Writing conferences are annoying but I see the point behind them, vocab is an easy A every week if you read a lot, assignments are often unclear and confusing
Treats students like 5-year-olds, doesn't hand ANYTHING back, gives pointless assignments, never plans classes, plays favorites
He has no idea how to run a class or how to advance a student's understanding of English. He has an asinine grading system where he doesn't give back papers unless you sign up for a painfully long writing conference. He is the worst teacher I've ever had.
Very nice guy, cares about his students, heavily involved in the school!
refusal of drive by grading and forcing you into writing conferences are annoying. He won't give you work back!!!
