One of the best teachers I ever had! He is the best lecturer I have ever had and I learned so much about America in his class. Sometimes the tests are frustrating though
Ok, here's the thing about Angert---he's really funny and entertaining, and you'll never be bored in class. He loves people who are outspoken, even if they aren't his opinions, as long as you can show why you think that way. I'm interested in class, so I remember a lot. But the bad thing is, he doesn't teach you details at all. I don't have a prayer of passing the AP exam, even though I do all the work. You learn a lot about AMERICA, but not so much it's history.
He may seem like an extremely tough guy and your impression of him depends on your stance on us history but all in all he was a great teacher.
MR ANGERT IS THE BEST!He is such a kind, smart, and funny man. He is brilliant, and his lectures will never fail to entertain. Not only are they educational, they are also fun and intriguing. I luv him
lot of writing but you learn an alot about history that you will need for your future.
He was a great teacher! I had him of class of 2002. Strict, but very respectful!
Mr. Angert is so completely ridiculous. He always claims "IVE TOLD YOU THIS BEFORE... " which he never has. "YOUR SO SMART ANSWER THIS QUESTION" about the most miniscule random fact. He makes things up and puts words in peoples mouth. He also thinks he is the funniest man on earth and he really isnt. He likes seeing students do poorly and could care less if anyone passes the exam.
Mr Angert is a cool guy, the class is hard, and the book is long and boring, he gives you plenty of chances to help your grade, and he really cares about his students passing and learning about history. class discussions are always fun, and he likes to tie in current events that relate to history which is pretty cool. he will say "there's always one" "there's always a catch" about a million times, so just get used to it.
This class was so-o-o easy if you kept notes and read the book. Angert does give opinions, but never boring as some others are.
This man was putrid.. Honestly, History was never less exciting than my year with Angert.
Though Angert's notes are not helpful on tests, the quizzes come straight from them. Reading the book and taking notes on it is the only way to do well in this class (unless you have the old tests or he forgets to black out the answers on them of course :) )
Arguing with this man over his mistakes does not lead to good things. You HAVE to take good notes and do the readings to do well in this class. Sometimes can play favorites.
Angert is funny, but you don't learn much. He is wrong sometimes, but refuses to admit it. I wouldn't be surprised if he rates himself here, cuz he's a pretty bad teacher.
A good Honors teacher but not AP. Nobody does well on his exam. He is extremely biased and teaches history based on how he sees it. He also shamelessly favors girls in his class.
in clarity is because you know exactly what he wants you to believe:his version of history, complete with false statements and biases. He likes weird polls too
Mr. Angert is a fun teacher. He a good lecturer and his history class is probably the first one where i have never felt like sleeping.
By far the worst teacher I've ever had. I learned nothing and in fact, much of the information that he taught was wrong. His Vietnam War notes were all fiction
Angert's opinions are the only ones allowed. The tests are easy if you have the answers and you can get an A if you don't say anything, ever.
Uncle Angy is amazing! He keeps the old tests around because all the important stuff is in his notes! He really knows his stuff and is hilarious and a sofftee.
Mr Angert is an awesome teacher, he is a smart teacher who actually knows how to conduct an AP classroom,i dont always agree with him but i love the debates!
Angert is cool and his class is intresting, however he cant make bets very well, he always ends up loosing them ESPECIALLY TO ME!
Angert's cool but don't say anything stupid, be quiet, and pay attention.
On the one hand there's 1776, perhaps one of the finest experiences I had at plant. On the other hand, "Jose, can you see?" Miserable.
He is a good teacher, I learned a lot in his class. But is he tries to threaten you with more work if you keep talking, don't listen, he's a push over. :-)
very cool teacher i learned a great deal of history and i also passed the ap exam thanks to him. he knows his stuff!!!
he's not the greatest about actually reading your essays or making classes fun but he is interesting, he always states his opinions but lets you state yours too
He is a silly man.His class was amusing. But be warned! He won't teach much history about indians/women/the repressed, and the AP test especially focuses on them.
His class is easy, but the lack of any test security always bugged me. Also, the class is slanted towards his views.
yes, he is lazy but you learn a lot even if you dont always agree with him
you're wrong. he's right. thats the end. if you like an overhead projector his classes are for you!
definitely the laziest person i've ever met... umm he definitely had the answers clearly legible on one test which was cool
laziest teacher ever, but thats not a bad thing since hes too lazy to change his tests which everyone has the answers to. good luck on the ap final lol...
Likes to argue, can be stubborn and mean, but overall fair. Doesn't care that everyone has his tests from years before. Very lazy; finals are just old quizzes that are copied and pasted. Asks the same question 2 or 3 times on the same test.
He tries to be mean, but it's really a sad attempt. Also, he mentions his own opinions way too often. Overall, he's not very skilled.
He tries to appear mean, but he's not too bad. He thinks he knows everything though.
