I didn't have him for hs but I took his summer physics course at Hunter College. He is very passionate about physics but I feel he is either bitter about teaching or is tired. I would not recommend his intro college course to anybody who didn't take hs physics. He has very antiquated methods of teaching. When you don't get something or when he thinks you don't get it, he makes it very clear to the class that you don't get it. When he was absent, he gave work to do that he never went over.

Best teacher I ever had. Anyone who complains just doesnt want to study. He encourages students to study and do better in class, he is the kind of tescher who prepares students for real college work. If you are crying about him bow, then dont even think about going to college, because it will be a lot harder there.

If you think hes a good teacher, then congrats because you're probably a genius for being able to learn anything from this man. He brought down my whole average and plays favorites. He does know A LOT, but that doesn't make him a good teacher. I learned nothing from this man and wasted a year in his class.

Had him for research and Ap. He teaches more on a College level and expects u to do majority of the work on your own. He can be a bit paranoid at times but he's not that bad.....

Very lenient grader and excellent teacher. Really cares about his student especially if they show an interest in the subject. Really a pleasure.

As the "majority" said, smart but lakes ability to teach at high school level. Still, helpful and talented. Nobody can be like Feyman and Moring.

Mr. Marx would be perfect if he was a college proffesor, he expects way too much from high school kids. He's really nice after all his yaping.
