I'm 36 now, (class od '96) and Mr. McLean was a WONDERFUL teacher. I was not strong in the sciences, and his college teaching style went a little over my head at the time, but I preferred lower grades in his honors courses than easy A's in the general courses (this was before weighted GPA's). He was my teacher two consecutive years for both physics and chemistry. My classmates and I grew to adore him and his dry sense of humor. Wish you could have seen him at the faculty vs. student b-ball game!
Advanced class - Not a good teacher; favors girls; you learn based on what you do on your own
easily the best teacher in the school-nobody knows their subject as well as he does, and the class isn't a total joke unlike most others. also, funniest teacher ever
Hard teacher who teachs Chemistry well if you are willing to learn. His College professor experience helps prepare you for college.
Very tough, knows what he is talkin about, but extremly boring, and is not very personable.
If you are planning on majoring in chemistry or biology in college, take Mr. McLean's chemistry classes. It will help you more than you will ever know!!!!
Very cool guy with a great sense of humor. Very helpful and knows chemistry!
