One of the best. He is always prepared, knows what he is doing and pushes us beyond what we expect of ourselves. I have never been more confident because of his teaching. He helps us with everything music and in life. My band friends are jealous.
I've had him for three years so far, and he is a really good teacher. He can be quite stern and has a dry sense of humor (that I don't always get) but his teaching is really effective and I think all you need to get on his good side is to be on time, prepared, and work hard. He might seem mean at first, but I think he's actually pretty sweet (I've seen him talking with his five year old daughter :D). Just work hard and don't fool around. I'm looking forward to high school orchestra with him!
Mr. Iriarte puts 110% effort into every student. His goal isn't to just do his job, but to do more; every day,our orchestra grows a little in technique, perseverance and character. He's a role model, and has helped me improve so much as a musician.
Get your story straight. He told us the festival was originally scheduled at Carnegie but was moved. He is an excellent musician, teacher and person. The most helpful of all my teachers.
Mr. Iriate is an awesome orchestra teacher!!! She is so funny, and he knows a lot about music. So funny!!!!!! U will always have a fun time in orchestra!!!
He May seem mean at first, but he's not. He just cares about us and wants us to become better musicians! He's Really funny too!

Mr. I rocks! Orchestra makes me so happy in the morning.......
He is really into what he does and he is very encouraging and kool!
Yeah, he's funny if you like being verbally harassed. 'You morons, you never do the right scale.' That makes me want to play violin even more. *rolls eyes*
Okay, you weasles, no more Mr. I knocking! He's a BRILLIANT musician with a great sense of humor, and his teachings are invaluable. You're lucky to have him.
Naw you guys. Mr. Iriarte is really fun. You'll like him once you're in high school. He's really funny and cool.
