My experience with Ms Perronne has been a phenomenal one. I was in Ms Woolf's class for two years and learned absolutely nothing, barely passed my final at the end of sophomore year. Junior year I took Latin, even though it wasn't required. At first, I regretted it, but soon in, I learned that I both am good at and genuinely enjoy learning Latin. It is one of the few classes I feel confident and caught up in, thanks to Ms Perrone's very clear and helpful teaching. Thank you Ms Perrone!
Ms. Perrone is a great teacher. She clarifies Latin and makes it a lot easier to learn. Although her class could be boring sometimes, she's still a good teacher. She's nice but knows how to keep control of her class. One thing's for sure, don't even think about cheating in her class (or any class as a matter of fact).
Ms. Perrone is a helpful and nice old lady. She is strict but not too much. Her class gets boring sometimes and she talks way too slow that people are falling asleep. But everyone loves her and learns a lot from her.
the BEST latin teacher ever. Although the class can be a little boring at times, i'm basically fluent and owe it all to her.
Ms.Peronne is by far the best language teacher in the entire school. I had her for first year latin last year and I learned an amazing base for such a hard language. She can be strict but is a very good teacher. Would for sure take Latin III with her
best foreign language teacher at DA. amazing for both spanish and latin. I learned so much from her and she is the sweetest woman ever
she keeps me awake in latin class unlike mrs woolf. i love her so much. she's such a nice woman and she's willing to help you out. she made latin easier and make so much more sense!
If you qualify for third and fourth year Latin, take it. I took a 300-level Latin course in my first semester of college and found that I was one of the best-prepared students there after taking AP Vergil with Ms. Perrone. She strikes a great balance between teaching the grammar/mechanics that students need to know and conveying the sense of poetry that can't be translated literally. I took her class for two years and never had a personality problem with her - shes one of my favorites!
i don't know why so many people liked her.... she wasnt a very good teacher, short tempered, not at all helpful (even if you went to her for help outside of class). not a nice woman.
shes funny..."the stairs may not look slippery but they ARE"
she talks to us as if we are in 1st grade...and i think she smiles way to much lol...
a great great teacher...totally clear; puts it on a silver platter for you; tests are straightforward...no comparison to mrs. woolf; a little od about cheating
I miss MS Perrone! The Latin teacher I have now sucks! I have to use notes Ms Perrone gave me in Jr & Sr year to get by. Ms Perrone was sooo good at explaining
Ms Perrone is an excellent teacher and she's really nice.
she is ok, but she seems to call on me whenever im sleeping! She overpronunciates words and smiles way too much ... PUELLAAARRUMMMMM
She is ok...randomly calls on you too much though gerr!
shes ok....but calls on you when your hand is not raised.
