Mrs. Holmes is SUPER TOUGH and SUPER STRICT and there is no possible way that you won't fail at least one or two of her assignments, if not more. However, she really does care about her students and works extremely hard to help them succeed. Though at times she can be frustrating, if you put effort into her class and show that you care, she will be nice to you. She is an extremely smart and all around very kindhearted person.
10/10 would recommend.
She's probably the best teacher I've ever had. People hate her because she makes them actually learn and not just memorize stuff to regurgitate it. Her class has helped me so much with college and AP essays.
She's actually not that hard if you pay attention in class and actually read the literature. And she really improved my writing skills! She also practically taught a kid in my class how to write. Before this year he had like a 6th grade writing level, but now he's much much much better! I'm totally taking her AP class next year.
the best. the best. the best. the best. the best. the best. the best. the best. the best. the best. the best. the best. the best. the best. the best.
Definitely the worst teacher I have ever encountered.
she is so mean and stern she only tries to fail you gees. im loosing it trying to study for her pointless exam which hard for reg people.
Shes hard, but shes a pretty good teacher. Grammer is terrible, Dante is ok
If you have her class next year you should probably run. Beside the fact that she's mean she never lectures its kind of learn English on your own and then fail quizzes until you do
okay i know everyone hates her but we will all look back and thank her because she taught us how to interpret literature SO well and we did so many papers that they became easy.
