Ms. Lewis is the hardest teacher I have ever had. She is also the best teacher I have ever had. I took her for Honors English 2, and I learned so much from her about life, culture, and English. I later had her for chorus and helped write her final Chorus Show at GP. Ms. Lewis is the greatest teacher in GP history, and is still respected for all the hard work and effort she has put into GP throughout the years.
Greatest teacher at GP!!! She is not easy, but that helps prepare you for college. Do not forget to take the 2B class and Chorus.
She is intense and strong willed but can be very fun to be around. Her class is very entertaining.
SHE MADE ME DO PUSH UPS BEFORE THE START OF EVERY CLASS..SINCERELY MORRIS '95
I've never had an english teacher that's been able to TEACH anything. I left all of my classes without learning a thing; not in Ms. Lewis's class. I loved having her class!
I wish every teacher taught as she does. You have to work for your grade, but you learn so much. No class time is wasted.
To this date, I impress people with my vocabulary. They think its because I have a PhD in Engineering. I KNOW WHY---I had Ruth Lewis for Sophomore (yeah I remember, a wise fool) English.
Ms. Lewis is one of the best teachers at GP by far. She actually teaches unlike every other teacher, except for Mrs. Rains.I couldn't have made it to the Ivies without her. Thanks!
Some students are scared of her, but she's really nice. She cares! Just don't be LAZY! She'll get you ready for college, SAT's, everything, & if you had Mrs. Rains, you're ready.
I graduated in the 80's but I still remember Ms. Lewis with fondness. More importantly, I remember everything she taught me.
Been at GP since the beginning of time. lol. She juggles Highlanderettes, chorus, H. English II A & B, and does Scrabble night at BAMM. Got to love her. Blunt.
How do you do Highlanderettes, Chorus, Honors English 2A and 2B, and all these other things at one time?
Ruth is really cool, likes to yell alot but only because she loves us.
Strict, but very good teacher, commands respect and expects her students to put forth their best.
Some would say difficult, but she only expects students to learn what is taught. Everything is very clear, and extremely well taught. And an interesting person!
