Don't wear sparkly shoes unless you want to get teased hahaha. But honestly speaking, he was such a great teacher. From Socratic seminars to in-depth novel discussions, I always felt like we were doing something new and interesting. He likes to put an emphasis on grammar, which, in my opinion, is actually really important because it improves your writing tremendously. Also, don't be intimidated by his sarcastic humor, he's actually very genuine and nice.

Very chill, but also incredibly helpful if you seek him out. He has a genuine love for teaching, and for the entire year I had him, I think I heard maybe one or two complaints about him

He's one of the few teachers that knows what he's talking about and loves what he's doing. A lot of classwork but barely any homework. Funny and laid back guy. He LOVES grammar. Haha. You're lucky if you get him :]
